Mate, Rohan Smith can destroy things on his day too. We need to keep a tight leash on him!

Well, that was a pretty average start to the game. Found a bit of the footy late in the quarter, but does anybody else get the feeling this will be a night where we fail to make the most of our opportunities.

:|

Hope Bryan is okay, that was a pretty ugly incident. Oh how good was his kick inside 50 the Stevens. Its one thing to kick the ball long, but to place it with such pinpoint accuracy is something we desperately need.

Hmm, only three more quarters to go.

Good effort by Bryan to continue playing - it was a sickening incident

Can't win the ball in the midfield - Dogs are too fast for us.

Tackle count highlights our lack of intensity.

They were 9/2.

I've gotta ask, what was that free kick against Bryan for? While it was good by Birss, I would have thought it was a trip.

Well, possibly. I reckon we'll be lucky to get 4 quarters out of both teams they are all completely dripping with sweat and looking pretty knackered already. There's no way I can see Bryan playing out the game. It's about 28°C and both teams are in a cool room (16°) for their quarter time breaks.

If the Dogs keep running like they have been they'll probably have enough score on the board by the time they tire.

Dogs are controlling the stoppages too, which isn't helping.

Still, Fev is looking okay, if very proppy, clearly not even 85%, Campo started well and did a few good things. Eddie is his tenacious self and Tbird is manned up on the much shorter Robbins.

I wouldn't say we're out of it just yet, but we need to lift a fair bit to get back in the game.

Oh Heath Scotland went off and into the rooms with a knee injury but Tiff reckons he'll come back on at some stage.

In that triple somersault incident with Bryan where the Dogs player smothered his kick he got a fair whack on his right leg and seemed to cut his lip when tipping over. Looked pretty ugly he could have easily injured his neck pretty badly.
