Sporn's disposal is usually not too bad. In fact, that was what distinguished him from other players in the CFC side for the last couple of years.

He has seriously gone downhill this year and he's probably lucky he's contracted for next year because on form he'd be GAWN at the end of this year.

Mind you, this is not a guarantee either...

He ia actually a good kick just struggles to dispose of the ball under pressure. Something he will have to overcome to continue his career,

I agree that he's a good kick. But he's often under pressure when disposing because he's very slow. It's a bit like that with Bret Johson as well. He can actually kick the ball reasonably well, on the few occasions when he's got time and space to dispose. But he's so slow, that it almost never happens.

Sporn has suffered from percieved versatility.
Coaches try him as a midfielder, run with player or hard tag.
Saturday demonstrated that he's a half back flanker.
He has good skills, can mark well overhead and has courage.
If we decide to let him settle instead of trying to make him Mr Versatile, he will be good value.

Do you seriously think he had a good game on Sat? He may have got a few stats but it costs us most times when he has the ball. Do not rate him at all!!!

Can't believe he was selected ahead of Norman. I'm sick of hearing Norman's attitude is the reason he doesn't get a game. If so play him in the Ants reserves or sack him (as per Croad). Having Norman in the Ants seniors doesn't fit with me, if he was constantly a 'bad boy' he should have been given the boot by now.
