Surprise surprise, the AFL have [REDACTED] up their implementation of Free Agency.

You really think that's going to work?

Not draft tampering. Dangerfield has apparently said if forced into the draft he's nominating only one year. He's allowed to do that. If it's the PSD then take him then get a first rounder, 2nd rounder and a good player the next year in a trade. That's how the system works.

That's not the draft tampering part.

Us making a deal this year with Geelong to trade him cheap next year is.

I reckon it's likely he'd go into the ND than PSD, teams far less likely to blow a top eight pick. Which means we wouldn't get pick 9, let's hope Lachie has another team in mind as it may not end up well for him!!!

I don't think Andy McKay will be at the club for too long. I am hearing from ex players and soon to be ex-players that he is part of the reason why they are leaving. He has shafted many ex players and the rest of the players can see how others have been treated and there is very little loyalty.

I think he needs to go and the problems will go away.

Ah yes, this boogyman is the boogyman to end all boogymen; the final sacrifice to cleanse our forsaken club.

Maybe we should screen for superstitious buffoonery in combine interviews.

You may believe in the boogy man Jim but most of us understand the importance of having a team which is engaged in the process.

His treatment of players has been terrible and all players at the club would not disagree. Money was thrown at certain players to keep them. Judd wanted out last year and Mick persuaded him to stay. The issues run deep. Maybe moving them all on is the plan so Macca can stuff up the next group of players coming through.

Aish has been warned to stay away and it was not by Robbo either

Stay away from what? The football department has changed significantly. How on earth can anyone know what the future is going to bring? It's either a former player sooking it up, or current player about to be given the arse as he is not good enough.

I hope this stuff is all rumour. The bitching and sulking about anyone attached to our club is very discouraging.
I have no inside info on the club and come to tc to find out whats going on.
Tc makes it hard to think we'll ever make it out of the bottom four.
Luckily i know most of what i read is bs.

Andy Mckay comes across as a genuine bloke who gives a shit about people personally. Suprised by this rumor.

Horrible, horrible post. I'm not even going to say what I truly think about spreading something like this.

So tell us all about the conversations you have been privy to b/t McKay and players, admin staff and player managers.

Look forward to hearing how McKay handles himself in these discussions.

I sounds to me like the old classic.........'Everyone says................'

What that actually means is 1% is not happy about something that didn't suit them and they can't move on. It is always someone else's fault.

As it is McKays job to basically be the face of sacking players, he cops it from those sacked.

That's just life.

well mate...you have got it all goddam wrong

if you sack a player, like brock mclean....you sit him in a room with the president, ceo , coach and mckay - do an exit interview, thank him for his great service, recognise his famly history at carlton and encourage him to visit any time in the future and offer him club assistance in the future

well with macca...dont come back monday...a clinical vet...

we're criticising macca after how brock was handled?

brock should be thanking his lucky stars we persuaded the media not to publish the reasons brock was sent packing.

what a load of bull. I critics the club all the time

but I will not criticise the club for how they handled brock. as I said, brock should be nothing but thankful for how the club has kept his name out of the headlines.
