He is just so composed, talented and one that demands attention (from both sides) just by playing in that position.
With Marchbank in our side we finally have the luxury of options with still more to come when Jaksch and McKay are ready to step up like abns mentioned.

The operative word here. In the past we'd have one option and then a gaping chasm in backup (remember when Luke Mitchell was our great white hope?).
Now if McKay or Jaksch don't come on, Kerr is an option, and if he doesn't come on, Ben Silvagni will be an option, and failing all of that we have Weitering, now that we have a more steady backline.
