Let's be honest, if you were Kossi, would you be bailing on your mates to play with a rabble.

It's been done before.
I'm sure Hamill could give him the necessary procedures..

If your were Murphy, would you want to play for the Lions or Carlton.

Murphy would rather play for Carlton.
If we cant get Kosi we can certainly drive up his price. :P
Its not like StKilda will ever win a premiership....

120 years one flag and 30 wooden spoons.

Cant argue with history.

Hey, watch out there Synbad, they look like statistics.

Now now Jarusa.. dont get all sensitive on me.
Theres a place for statistics....

Just not each and every post one makes...

I would offer for Kosi and offer the captains job as well...he played very well yesterday and is a qaulity player....we will probably drive Murphy to Brisbane the way we are going...why would the kid want to risk his body playing for us and knowing we cant look after our players on the field, our blokes just dont want to fly the flag for their teammates....

Can't see Kosi going from a side like the Saints to a rabble of a team. Why would you turn your back on a side that will be playing finals footy for the next few years to a side that will struggle? If you were the Saints would your number one priority be Gehrig or Kosi? Kosi to Carlton ain't gonna happen.

..that statement there is just so depressing to read because it's seems true

Kosi seems to be a good clubman not a mercenary so I doubt he'd leave for whatever money or deal we offer him.

garth p is right here.

Im sure Riewoldt still resents being drafted by that rabble St.Kilda in 2000. Gee, they were shit back then.

Not sure how they're doing now. I've just come back from Uranus. I was up there testing a theory that the future is really just the present repeated without any change.... especially with no effect from things like equalisation policies.

Was I right? Only time will tell.....

I mean you'd expect St.Kilda to still be shit now if they were in 2000... right?

Poor Nick Riewoldt. Still at a shit team with no future (I'm assuming).

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to catch up on 5 years of news, or catch the latest NSync album. I assume they're still huge, because they were back then... and things never change do they?

:all new lows of logic:

He plays second fiddle but i thought his game was marvelous again.. now that the Golden boy is out injured he is stepping up.
I came to think about what would a guy like Kosi be worth to us. ???

What would you give up to draft a REAL CHF especially a POWER CHF to this club.????
What would you offer him???

Personally for me????

Whatever it took...!!!!!!!

A long contract at a half a million Id pay for him to walk.

He does have a position...

It's called RUCK and rests in the Forward Line

don't you watch the game????

Can you get in the All Australian team as "rests in the forward line".

I'd say that given the curse placed on Carlton by the cosmos, after a legacy of Bad Elliott-Karma, we'd have ZERO chance of signing Kosi.

Maybe a team like Hawthorn could convince him to move... but not us.... we're cursed.....

We'll get no one. I'm convinced that Murphy will go North, Power will go to Collingwood, Hurn will play cricket, Ellis won't nominate, Mitch Clarke will take up skiing.... and we'll be stuck recycling Michael Frost and Brendan Krummell with our first 2 picks.

Allen Jakovich would look ok in Navy Blue

OH MIGHTY SHIVA!!! SPARE US THE INDIGNITY OF ANOTHER ERA OF SUFFERING! IF YOU GIVE US ONE MEASLY LITTLE BREAK THIS YEAR, I PROMISE TO NEVER GO COW TIPPING AGAIN!!!!!

WE'RE SORRY LORD!!!!!!!!!! SORRY!!!!!!!!!! WE'VE BEEN SO FOOLISH!!!!!! I LOVE WALKER! DON'T LET HIM OR WAITE GO!!!!! HAVEN'T I SUFFERED ENOUGH TO BE SO WISE AND HANDSOME YET DETESTED BY WOMEN????

Let's offer Kosi 500 a year plus another 250 in un-marked bills placed in a black suitcase that is left next to the park bench by a man in a trench coat and sunglasses at Flinders Street station.......... 8) Bring back the good ol' days. :P

Let's at least push his worth through the roof and make the Aints pay for the Hammil deal.

Oi Josh, I knew we were stuffed this year when my members hat was horribly mis-shapen and I couldn't wear it.... no kidding. It makes me look like John Merrick wearing a carlton hat and a Jude Law mask.

When your HAT turns on you, you know you're beaten.

Of course I am. Murphy has a choice of where he ends up, unlike most other draft picks.

And Romeo and Juliet being a "feelgood romance"........

Would $500 x 5 years be ok?

I thought we were all against long-term overpriced contracts this year?

I'd offer him 450K on a 2 year deal.

The pressure is building at the aints.

Kosi will be asking for $$$ and Butterhead will say, "sorry, ask 'Judas' for a pay cut"

Kosi says, "screw you, I'm off to Carlton"
