3-5 for me based on our injury list and depth.
Should beat: North, GWS and West Coast.
Might beat: StK and Dogs.
Hard to beat: Tigers, Cats, Crows, Lions and Pies.

I'm with GEx on the second half of the year.

I will say 5-5.
Hopefully have a better second half to the year this time.

After looking at our draw and seeing some other teams this round I am not so confident now.

We just drew against a Top 4 team. Nearly snatched 4 points.

We are competitive and tough to play against and it’s obvious we can adapt to different game styles and it’s only round 1.

We will beat the Cats and the feeling will change. We will be saying we really should be 2 up, then 3 up…

I want to play Dees Pies, but glad we have time to build up to that, coz that’s where we belong.

We played shit against Richmond - got zero flow on the game at all. At no point did I think we had clicked into gear and were applying real torque.

And on the opening game of opening round, we still scrounged a draw against a team that's smashed us up for a decade and who won 3 of the last 4 grand finals.

And people are ready to cap themselves.

I guess so Bondy….

we’re talking about the first 10 games…i had us at 6-4 at the
start of the season…i suppose I’m drifting more towards 4-5 for
the next 9….!

just watching the 3rd quarter again…they DID score a couple
of crap goals…then Harry missed 2 in a row…!

interesting thing…Charlie kicked 2 in a minute…then when the
ball came down next…Harry jumped in front of Charlie for
the mark…then missed…!

Charlie was hot…he should’ve been left to take the grab…!

kindest regards tommi

not forgetting that crap goal where Saad poked his leg
at…terrible effort…!

Where do you get top 4 from? Tigers are 10th and they finished 7th last year. You must of dreamt that. And we want to know, one, why you're dreaming about Richmond and two, why you're dreaming about them being a Top 4 team?

I’m reflecting many in the media selecting Tigers as a top 4 side with the addition of the 2 mids. 2 have also picked Tigers to win the flag. I should’ve said that but we’ve discussed media predictions and know Richmond are rated.

The Tigers finished the H&A season well with their tails up from some huge wins, other than controversially losing by 2 points against Lions after leading most game in the Final they played.

I think they’re a Finals contender this year too, and wouldn’t be surprised if they do end up top 4.

Point is we drew with a very good team, and if they are being touted as a top 4 team then we are in good company with the draw.

Not sure how many wins after Round 10, but I am worried about the 5-day break between our Round 10 (Collingwood) and Round 11 (Sydney) games, not to mention the games themselves!

I predicted 4w 6l so we're already ahead of my expectations. Agreed the 5 day break before Sydney isn't great, but nor are the Swans right now, so with a week's rest I would've been confident. They're especially stretched in the key positions so H and C would be hoping to fill their boots like they did against Norf.

Carlton - 5 day break with interstate trip to play a strong team
Collingwood - 7 day break with a game against Norf

Was disappointed that when they DID have a 5-day break (between ANZAC Day and Adelaide, in Adelaide), they were still able to win.

Almost like they're professional athletes or something...

Haha, and fair enough.

Ok...I'm always disappointed when they win.

Anyone know when the back half of the fixture gets finalised?

I just saw it tweeted!

Mostly day games which is fine.

Edit - https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/fixture
You have to go to the actual fixture page, there's no article on it yet
