The kids were playing well.
That kick from Crippa into F50 was sublime.
Walsh looks like he was in great form, until he was in front of goals.
HOK is still a long way off AFL for me.
His kicking was pretty poor and he kept dropping marks.
Decent win though, well done.
Clearly Voss has NOT lost the players as suggested a few weeks ago, just as much as some players are playing for their careers.
1 more game to go and time to get onto adding to the list.

very astute observations, quite correct imo

but early on, i thought weiters was a bit off, and cripps was being a bit selfish

the younger players were the better overall, and when lord went off, we lost a bit of spark

hof seems like he isnt sure of himself yet, but he will be great

tdk did pretty well, and harry was a brute

we went to sleep again for a little while at half time, they must have horlicks in their bottles. but when they switched back on, while they werent scoring as freely, the effort was unquestionable

3 late goals flattered port, our boys were out on their feet

Port were awful. That game reminded me of gather round against West Coast

Best thing was the kids
No McGovern
No Fantasia
Won’t go through them all but they all can be good players
Interesting month ahead with what Wright does
Some of the Portly port players would fail the skin fold test
Interesting to see Cazzeman here when we win
Mate as Doc said we still are a way off

this week and next week are definitely pre-preseason games. if voss isnt planning for next year now, he is missing a trick

and this is probably why the kids are getting extended runs over fantasia and gov

Whether you are for or against Vossy, every week I watch his press conference and most weeks I watch Ross Lyon.

We got the right guy for the Club. I think he is honest, professional and tries to explain things without ever denigrating any questions.

I would struggle to support Carlton if we had got Lyon. He and SOS are besties and I can always see why. Birds of a feather.

It was nourishment... good to see kids getting a run, Harry 7 goals and Walsh was good in his return game.

But can't get too excited about a bruise free game...

I'm not sure if you were at the game but I didn't think it was a bruise free game just because we won by a lot. You can only beat the team you're playing on the day and that we did today. During the year I think we have been our own worst enemy at times and defeated ourselves! So I am not totally with the Doc.

The stubbornness of slow ball movement had a week off. Voss's addiction to contest after contest had a week off.

Port also had a week off.

But we moved the ball with more purpose than we have all season and our players didn't look gassed 5mins into the 2nd half.

I went to the game and it was just nice to see our team play well and get a win. It's been a long tough year.

We're still butchers going forward. A number of gilt edged chances were blown for no reason other than being dumb or unskilled when it mattered.

A glosses over a lot of the shortfalls and there are plenty. Having said that, it was much more enjoyable than the last month had been leading up to yesterday.

Disappointing for Cooper Lord to be subbed out with concussion thus ending his season a week early. He's been one of our better stories for the year.

Great to see Walsh back out there. We've missed his dynamic run. He's always good first up after a lay off. Unfortunately, we've seen it all too often.

Hopefully we repeat the dose against the bummers next week

104 point turn around in 7 weeks.
Not a bad effort

I enjoyed the game, would have liked to have won by 80

Some of these players really need to work on set shots and not just at Carlton
You would think 10 to 15 minutes after every training session would fix it. Do it when you are fatigued

Would you rather a junk time 9 goals loss?

If it's a junk time win can the losing side really have junk time goals?
