Loving the look of the squad. I'm sure the team won't line up as named but the balance is good. Once the team is cut to 23 for Round 0, I can't see Kemp, Moir and Hayward all fitting in the forward line but I'm happy to see Moir and Kemp get another hitout. IMHO, those 2 will be fighting for the one spot.
From memory, at least 10 goals from last weeks game came from players who didn't play a game for Carlton last year. That can't be overstated. A huge contribution and a sign of the massive change we'll see to our scoring structure and potential in 2026.

And Boyd ahead of Wilson is a bit interesting too.

Yes I would have liked to seen Wilson selected in the squad for the Cats.
He wasn't given much opportunity last week against the Lions.

Hope not. Our injured list is approaching concerning levels again.

It’s almost inevitable that we’ll cop another injury or injuries this evening, but let’s hope we don’t get any more long term injuries (and none to key players).

That’s for sure

Is the Ressies game being shown/streamed anywhere?

I was up there and watched but unfortunately had to leave at three quarter time . We got belted in the first quarter but knuckled down and slowly inched our way back . That Ison kid looks the goods . Monaghan has come on .

Was just thinking before the match, how clever of Walsh to sign the contract just before this game, in case he got injured…

And strangely after our preseason we are spending most time going down the wings and not really cutting in. Cats going through the middle a little more

Keep kicking too high into forward line - just gets picked off…

Gov Williams Fogarty Young still shit
Florent average
Saad crap
If Voss is smart he plays Flynn Young Ison Wilson and Carroll ( if both fit)
The Hollands boy both are overrated imo
What I want is selection integrity this year
Flynn Young should be playing next week based on today for Elijah at the very least

Can't wait til we play Essendon*. The crowd murmur of Jagga when he gets the ball should be as annoying as their Timmy sound years ago

Thought Young had a good first quarter
And I don’t think Williams is rubbish
