I checked AFL web site etc. and can not find confirmation that Kade is this weeks nomination. Anyone has a link?

Yep lot to like about this kid ... maybe still small but hey he got a biy of mongrol in him ... wont take a backward step even if he did loose his jumper ... likes to chase and tackle something that has been lacking in a few others ... look at the midfiled tackle stats for this game

Bentick 8
Carrots 5
Simpson 6

Add Kouta 7 / Scotland 5

This just looks good shows they where havin a real dip

Yes, but that's when the AFL ANNOUNCE it. They decide it on Monday. And if, for example you knew about AFL decisions after they were made, but before they were announced, then... well, you'd be SAS87.

It's easy.

I hope he ends up being the player Campo wasnt.
HUGE TALENT!

You reckon if you said to Kade Simpson now that he'll play 250 games for the club, play in a premiership, win a B and F and make the All-Australian side as well as being vice-captain, he wouldn't take it? Interesting Synbad...

Youd want Simmo to be more than a spoonfed player....
Youd want Simmo to be a good player when he is in a shit side.. like he currently is and Campo isnt.
See Simmo tackle with intent????

Simpson's intensity has been more rewarding to watch than his ability to slot home goals on the run around the 50m mark IMO. He attacks the opposition players with great ferocity and appears to be a superb tackler for a player of his build. Another example of patience being required in the development of young kids. I hope he continues to develop with such improvement well beyond 2005.

First three games Ponky.

Great news. He looks the goods. Not afraid to mix it with bigger guys and great skills as well. I likes the cut of his jib. :D

Well done Simmo - richly deserved. As Camel said it is great to see the fetish for expecting instant success from skinny kids - and labelling those who don't measure up straight away as hacks - for what it is.

I reckon Bentick deserved it ahead of Simmo this week.

I have this theory that NRS is picked on how good you have been for the year a lot of the time (not all the time, just sometimes). Simmo has played better twice this year yet he didnt get it. While bentick game was prob a bit better than Simmos ( just that tiny bit better) but beno has had a bad year.

Anywat Congrats Simmo
