It is a dangerous road we have head down to which there is no coming back.

It is amazing how talented teams look when they are winning and how talentless they look when they loose.

If you want talent at the club start winning its done wonders for Adelaide who had no talent at all at the beginning of the year and Sydney they should have been taken out and shot at the lack of talent they had at the start of the year.

You can only have talent in your side when you are winning - You can try and draft talent but unless they win they will be talentless

we have to lose to win?

losing deliberatly is something i will never ever condone and im constantly amazed at how quick people will condone losing deliberatly to get a draft pick.

winning a GF has nothing to do with having 10 top 10 draft picks. Its a combination of having a few talented players, with a core of "good ordinary" players.

We have some quality players devloping - Stevens, Waite, Walker, Fevola etc.. and we have some decent "good ordinary players" Bentick, Simpson, Thorton, Bryan etc..

we are but a few players away from a good squad.

the crap that ive been hearing on this very forum the last few months would have you believe we have not got a single player worthy of playing AFL. get rid of the lot of them, make 10 changes, do this, do that.

We are struggling at the moment, no dobut in that, but getting a picks 1 & 4 arent suddenly going to change our fortune around.

Are we any different to where Richmond where last year?

Synbads way is not a proven method to win a premiership ThaiBlue, it helps but it also takes alot more than a few gun recruits to achieve the ultimate glory, just ask Port Adelaide who realised the term TEAM is what wins premierships.

How do you inspire the word TEAM in Carlton? by not playing like selfish millionaires, by having a go for your teammates, by respecting the jumper you wear out on to the ground. A priority pick is not going to solve the rest of our issues, it will teach the priority choice how to play as an individual.

The day Carlton obtain a culture that playing for each other than for themselves in the day we march back into finals contention.
