The reason they waited is because slicing someone open is the last resort. 9 out of 10 times this sort of problem is fixed with rest but not this time.

But hey look on the bright side atleast we don't have to listen to all the BS about him coming last in the time trial

Fev to have surgery

I'm with you. This could have been done (and if there was any doubt should have been done) 10 weeks ago.

about time, he couldn't even run during the second part of last season.

it wasn't as much about bad attitude that his form slipped rather the pain he felt after his injection wore off

While he is having surgery maybe they can take a look at his brain to see why he loses the plot, ha ha.

It's a shame for not only Brendan and the club but us as supporters because generally you're never as good as you could have been with a full pre-season. Interrupted pre-seasons hurt (no pun intended) you badly and you're always playing catch-up from there.

Why did he have to wait until now for this? Why couldn't he have it done towards the end of the season, or after our last game? I know he had finger surgery or whatever it was but surely he could have had this done too?

If he has a frontal he will be no different to the people running our club!

He should have been rested from about round 12 and then by round 22 surgery could have been performed if required. Makes too much sense I guess.

I've been using NIRS as my wake-up alarm...mostly because it plays such horrid Country and Western I am compelled to get out of bed immediately. This morning, the only AFL news they had on was about Fev's operation.

Have you been married before?
I wouldn't want to be out of action while away on a honeymoon either!
