Have a good hard look in the mirror.

That's a @#$%&! disgraceful thing to say, and you know it's not true.

There's no way the AFL would have let Jack continue as President. They would have wound the club up first. And, what's more, as witnessed by his business dealings, he built houses of cards, there's no way he could have got Carlton out of the financial mess he got us into.

If you think otherwise, you're more stupid than I thought.

Watson is a better coach than an interviewer.

I'm sure the AFL were shaking in their boots when Elliott threatened to sign a stat dec to say we weren't over the cap.

Essendon* actually have the money to fight it, unlike Carlton who weren't even able to pay players on time.
Having Ron Evans calling the shots at AFL house doesn't hurt their cause any either.

Making jokes about Jack is a good way of not thinking about our current president's failures. How can we beg for money when last year he re-signed money bags Pagan himself for another 3 years?

Not sure where the Game is going with support Jack

But as Synbad said Elliot is near bankrupt maybe except for what handouts he gets from his old mates. He was on the same track with The blues before he got voted out so all we have is a legacy of his last 5 years in power which was Legends Stand waste / Salary cap rorts and fines ... Not shifting when we could have negotiated a much stronger deal with MCG ect many issues. But i hardly take much from Elliot when he himself as driven his own life into the ground. As was stated before Elliot good pre Draft rules (80's ) whne we could buy what we wanted. Post Draft result as shown CFC kept into 80's mentalitiy when all other clubs had restructured themselves

Lets face it Elliot is grabbed to comment when Blues are struggling / Board problems / Poor season / finnacial troubles / basically when the club has negative stresss

So solution CFC has to start getting success and soon will get rid of all these wheeled out clowns who like nothing better than kicking the blues when they get the chance

Hey 7 Dom..........

i think history HAS judged Elliott mate............!

i can't even BEGIN to wrap my mind around.....the
thought of Elliott "running" our club..........what
sort of proof are people waiting for.........?

the guy's a deluded drunk.........he's crass..........he's
tactless....and has all the class....of a deluded crass tactless drunk..........!

Mike Tyson invested his money in more of a wise
fashion than Elliott.............what's that you say...........?

yes i know........what does that tell you...........?

gee i wish i could drive a car without wearing
a seat belt.............and why oh why can't i drive a car drunk
anymore........?

kindest regards tommi

god it's frustrating sometimes..............!

The club was practically insolvent when the new Board took over and was seriously contemplating to hand the AFL the "keys". If Jack had stayed he would have covered up for a little while until all credits are exhausted (like he did with Waterwheel) and then Carlton would have folded / or put under AFL administration with the Spew running it....

Some of the comments here... "pigs arse"

Same old story. The man responsible for the mess was supposed to save us from the penalties he ensured we would receive.

Jack is ready to save us ........

.....as soon as he is legally allowed to hold a seat on a board again...

He is currently searching for an office.... in old peoples homes.....

You cant compare a man who extorted.. bullied ... stole.. conned money to a guy who at least still has a bank account.

Your clutching at straws.....again!!!!

However.. i do think we need someone new.

De Lutis was meant to be Jack's succesor but you kicked him out too. You made your bed, now you have to lie in it, unfortunately so do the people who didn't support Collo. If we have to take a handout from the AFL you might as well hand the keys to those pr!(ks
