The club are looking at ways in which they can develop Princess Park. The AFL along with the state and federal government alond with the council all came together and helped redevelop western oval. Obvisouly the board wish to opeb discussions with the AFL and see if some arrangement can be made like that

I thought the last few years they were crying wolf just to get memberships up but they actually sucked me in last week making me think f#$% maybe we are in trouble. That won't happen again.

If the club has leaked this to test the waters than they are even more amateurish than I thought.
True or not this controversy has caused more harm than good to the clubs reputation. Why would any sponsor want to be even involved with the club when stories like this surface.
IMO if its untrue the club should take a very serious stance and consider legal avenues. Even if their isn't the intention to sue, put it out there to show the club had no intention of claiming from the CBF and won't tolerate bull$hit stories.

Nothing more confusing to sponsors, supporters etc...

One of the most jumbled press releases ever!!!

Bizarre. Does the left foot know what the right foot is doing? :?

Is it possible that the leaked story written by Caro actually came from someone at the AFL & not the Blues.

The "leaker" may have only had half the story but told Caro we were seeking assistance. Caro writes the article believing the leaker, yet our board had not definetly decided to seek assistance simply to consider it if need be later in the year?

So why does it take 4 days to respond?? Why didn't they immediately squash the story?? Shifty business going on I feel.

Caro said she had lunch with Collo the day after the story ran, and that Collo had no issue with the content of the story, just the headline - which she pointed out was written by the sub-editor - not her. So what is happening? This smells. We should be told the whole truth - not just bits and pieces of it.

She says she stands by the content of the story 100%.
