Caught a bit of the North one the other night…featuring Australian captain Ricky Ponting. I reckon that's a great idea. Would love it if we'd put one together with an array of famous Blues supporters urging people to get on board.

Olivia Newton John, Adam Gilchrist etc etc

And if we REALLY are scraping the bottom of the barrel, we should get Tina Arena.

But you can't get any bigger than 2 seconds of Dave Hughes

2007 - "Damn right I got the Blues"..all sung by famous Carlton celebs....

Okay so I don't qualify for an honorary ponytail..

I like the ad and quite a few people have liked it.

What's it say?....it's what it doesn't

Success etc is being associated with Cheating (unless you go far back to Nicholls and Jezza.....
"A true time of success"

" Carlton is about families (and Dynasties!)"

"We all bleed for the Blues"

"We're different now and doing things differently"

"New kings ready to take the throne"

"Old kings ready to give it their all"

....

Join us now....

(Isn't that what it said to you?!?! - and it does it in such a nice subliminal, feel good way.....has anyone heard anyone say it's a crap ad?)

At some stage perhaps you'll shed some positive light on how the club is portraying itself!

I realise you don't care for Synbad, Ockham - but I think you are trying to read the negativity into that post.... Clearly, Synbad hadn't seen the other post about the ad, and thought no-one had even commented on it. Pretty much everyone else who has responded to his post has realised he was saying "The club's out there doing something, and you people seem to be letting it go without comment"....
Either that, or I've misread everything of the last 2 pages.....
