I have heard Dennis was thinking about playing Livingstone and Longmuire in yesterday's game at Princess Park, but he was keen to see if Fischer could back up last week's game with another great marking performance.

I'm glad Dennis gave Mark Murphy and Brett Backwell another game, and it was good to see Russle Jordan getiing a run too. I think Bryant should've been given a game to support Barniby. Sounds like Houlahan had a good game, and good to hear than Davis was lively.

Jarsua should be able to produce some good stats on our pre-season performances relative to our season performances I reckon.

I dont know what everybody is saying here...but we will not imporve at all wile pagan,elsaugh and mitchell ares till there..we need a young engertice coach(like clarkson) who i shungry because pagan is only coaching for today...he has been doing this since he came to the club...he cant break the pysche of the players when the game gets tought and we fall waya badly....Iam 36 years old and have seen some great days...but the thrasing we have been receiving the last 3 years is to the point of incompentence and unfortunatley that comes back to the coach and his staff...can somebody please explain to me how we have the youngest team in the compettion but we have no skill coach at all...we have no past champions of our great club down at the club anymore. but we have elshaugh who played at 2 clubs and it will be nice an say he was a ok player...I dont know what he would pass onto the players...the 3 years he has been there i have yet to hear a player refer to him...i head more about libba than anybody else...sorry guys i know you are going to say it is a practise match but please thing logically...we will not improve while pagan is there

Look.. the club had an opportunity to make changes at the end of the last year with the assistants.
Usually when the shit hits the fan as far as performances goes something givess.

In our case we had a plea from the coach and the board backed down from what they were going to do.

The board should have told Denis to sack them!!!!... and in the vast world of coaches around Australia with hundreds of ex players.. he should have been forced to find someone else.

It would have taken him out of his comfort zone!!!

Again the lack of direction on all levels of this club has and will continue to hurt us.

Elshaugh adds nothing, he is an extension of Denis.... it isnt working so you force the issue to think outside of the square!!!...

If Lindsay Smith pleaded to Denis to be retained would that have made any differnce???

Theyre grown men for gods sake!!... if people have to go they have to go!!!
