Im not having a go at these players...

All im saying is they arent being developed to a point beyond potential.

There is something wrong with that as far as im concerned.. every club has young players on their list developed more than just potential.. except us.

Our kids look confused.

Im not saying their shit... im saying they are not in an environment conjusive to taking the steps necessary...

because were too defensive and the instruction is always changing.

they look confused and are and it s taking toll..!!!!

Trust me when i say its taking toll....

I would say Waite, Simmo and T-Bird have all developed beyond potential.

The rest are either on their way out or are into their third season or less.

Time mate, time.

Waite and T Bird struggling big time.
T Bird cant hit a target.. he used to.

Simpson has played about 20 games.. and he is looking as good as TBird and Wait were after 20 .. which is much better than they are now.

The only guy playing solid football on a consistent basis on our list thats a kid is Fisher... but dont worry.. we will ruin him too...

Waite had and awesome season last year, his best one so far. He's developing beautifully.

He had his best season but he faded towards the end. I'd say it was pretty good, I expect him to take off this year.

Thornton hasn't got any better the last 2 years after a promising start.

Wiggins, Sporn and Livo are all finished because they were never allowed to develop their natural games.

Carrazzo and Simpson actually benefited IMO from being allowed to develop in the VFL. I'd be happy for all our under 20's to play in that comp.

36 goals from the 22 year old was nothing to sneeze at. Playing for Australia was just rewards.

Yes but is he even in the top 100 players in the AFL?

How would you calculate that?

Would every club in the AFL have 5 players on their list better than Waite???

Some would have more than 5...

Synbad is right Waite is good and has a lot of promise but he isn't in the comps best. If he played like he did against Hawthorn that night more often he'd be up ther but hey it was against Hawthorn. I still don't think he marks the ball well enough to play as a key forward.

It's up to you to explain what your criteria is. What is effective? You can throw in a word but it means little without substance.

Had a few good games last year but also some pretty poor ones. Hasn't impressed so far this year.
