Its a new era at Carlton. Why bring back those who served under Elliot and Collo. A new generation of Carlton leaders, A new Carlton so lets all move on and look forward to a bright new future. Bringing back the old crew pretty much says we dont have the confidence to move on when we should embrace a change and forget about the past.

You have this wrong - the club should be united. It's not about letting go of the past. Whilst these people were part of an old regime that brought the club to it's knees, they are still Carlton and should be welcomed back in a guest capacity, not at board level.

A blend of the new Carlton and old Carlton should be embraced.

New leaders will come forth when the the opportunity presents itself.

Thats the whole point as far as im concerned Synbad.Thats how things were done in those days.And we bloody loved it.The thing is,they never took one cent from our Club.What did what they thought was best at the time.It turned to shit,bad luck about that.They never delibaretely effed the club.I dont believe in burning people for stuffing up if there intentions were good.Time to let bygones be bygones.Harbour no grudges and bare no malice i say.All Carlton supporters should be welcomed back no matter what the stuffup........Family feuds shit me ! Lets get on with it.
