But we don't know there are a number of scenarios possible. Journos construct their stories from a umber of sources and snippets of information. There could be more then one board member leaking, and it could (and I believe this to be quite likely) that board members are telling friends the inside goss and one or more of these are telling Caro.

Some of the current Board members really like the sound of their voice, I would not be surprised if they are happy to tell stuff to people and it ends up with Caro via this channel.
