Plenty of news to share after a few chats today. So much good news. So many options.
Anyone thinking we are not a destination club is a depressive soul.

SOS is gone now, and I can share some thoughts on him a bit later. I posted something in Players Thread re SOS.

So glad he's finally gone.

Wow... SOS has nominated the Saints as his prefered Club- How Orginal & Predictable... Daddy's boy....

We had to put up for two months of total BS with him & his family....Put him in a Wrap paper and give him to the Saints for Free!

What a sick & Twisted Culture we been having at this club. Players above Club and can do whatever they like! No wonder we keep failing year after year, regardless of whom the Coach is.

Haven’t been on lately which would disappoint many
My thoughts
I like what the club has doing so far
As far as SOJ and TDK going well so be it
We should get some good picks which will be useful
They are good players but free agency tends to overpay players
They have been injury prone
E Hollands clearly the club gave him
A second chance and he has blown it
The Gov if he stays will be on a bag of chips
Good
In fact just leave
I’m sure WC will be interested
Look elsewhere tells me standards have increased
Curnow is a big baby in a grown up body
I would be happy for him to piss off for the right trade(s)

Let’s face it
This rebuild hasn’t worked
For the first time the club is putting it onto the players for the shit
Not the coach and some players are showing their true colours
The club is targeting players who can run and kick a footy in a decent fashion
Khamis would more than be compensation for SOJ
Time to shake the tree
And it’s happening
As for SOJ
Clearly the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree

I like it
The club needs a massive shake up
As supporters let’s face it where sick of it
If players don’t want to be there or are flowersticks well @#$%&! off

As for E.Hollands, The club should have sacked him on the Spot.

How Dare he uses Mental health illness as an excuse to pull himself out when we badly needed him, then go on to spend his time partying, Gambling, drugs & Alcohol and then trying to drag the younger players into his mess with him?

This is unforgivable... The club should have come out publically when they found out and Sacked him on the Spot!

I agree with Keogh and am happy the club is being strong and direct.
I do think we can bounce faster than many others think but need to change the culture.

Am also very keen to hear what Bondi has to say…

add me to the list that agrees with Keogh ...

i think this is abit of a watershed moment for the club, wright appears to be doing what he was employed to do ...

it is in no way as negative as it might seem, but i put the clause on it ... we have to get the picks and the trades right, otherwise it could be a disaster.

but i like the response to e.hollands, i like that we arent paying overs for TDK, SOS ... we have been doing that for too long and we are unbalanced because of it. Also why im happy to sacrifice a curnow as well, balance the list, spread the wealth, get a better level of players and pay them accordingly ...

(saints could reach the pinnacle with what they are doing, but they could also spectacularly crash and burn)

Just highlights, everyone can be a so called destination club, if the $$$ are thrown.
The successful clubs, have the players preferring success and who are willing to lead and work hard - joining them.

We'll get what we get and we will smile and enjoy it

Club culture has been rotten for 25 years.

Biggest problem, we expected things would just turn around 'cos we were the best...once upon a time.

We expected performance to change, to return to former glory, without making the proper changes to club and club culture.

Rotten culture doesn't change by itself.

I finally have hope. I think the club has acknowledged this, and we are now trying to change our rotten culture that has been a cancer inside our club these last 25 years.

The board & new Prez, the CEO, the new GM Footy Ops, I have a good feeling we are turning things around.
