Coach and his assistants are a massive problem and change needs to occur. No discernible defensive game plan. Our coaches think they can just forget about defence and out score the opposition. How is that going? 4-8. Not well. Every other coaches box would be laughing at us and requesting two matches against us each year.
I wish our issues ended there with the coaches but they don’t.
Our players do not want it enough. They’re not desperate. Players shouldn’t require coaches to motivate them but seemingly ours do. They looked pretty motivated to me when Teague took over from Bolton. Now back to the same old shit. We can have great tactical coaches and that will help us improve but it’s a house of cards until our players toughen up and play hungry. Every player, every week.
And don’t get me started on the management team that thought we were on the cusp at the end of 2020 so gave away our draft capital and massive contracts to Saad and Williams. Completely overrated where we are at. Do they have the capacity to appoint the next coach? These ones appointed Teague so need to take responsibility for that.

From rd 1, I have seen zero improvement at any level. Our skills are deplorable, our pressure is average, we leak goals. And not one of these areas has been improved. If anything they’ve got worse.
We’re destroying good footballers, there’s no initiative in the coaching box.

Not true - Bolton got the arse because he lost the players and on game day players were running around like headless chooks.

The only way I can see Teague keep his job is to challenge his current mind set and remove players who let their team mates down, stop playing under done players and invigorate the team with players that have a point of difference to those being replaced.

Secondly he needs to demonstrate some imagination ... some dare.

Stop playing Murphy and Martin who only play within a certain radius.

Stop playing Casboult who cannot get any separation from an opponent and cannot produce a second effort to goal assist.

Stop playing Newnes who gives us very little today and will give us less tomorrow.

Introduce the likes of Honey, Kemp and persist with Parkes.

Lyon is good but take Crowley and Barlow out and he choked big time.

He choked so bad he needed to rebuild. He doesnt have a Barlow and Crowley to work with. We need to win clearances thats it in a nutshell and need to bring better midfield talent into this squad and improve it

He's got a mature team; Weitering in his prime, Harry in his prime, Walsh and Cripps and we sit 4-8.

And can I say after being pounded for suggesting we sound out Buckley to coach next year the last few weeks have fortified my opinion
Continually keeps his team in it by doing or coaching the defensive team basics and continually gets his side in finals and being competitive in finals
Those who come into the side know exactly what the team
Plan is and can fit in the role that they are placed in

No shit Sherlock we are not good enough. We have the list but we are only going to be good enough with a healthy list otherwise more additions are required and that has its own risks but what can you do when our list is so brittle?
