Why are you asking no body in here know it is all guess work like the HS. The only way you can find out is to take some scales to training and tell Lance to stand on them.

If all goes well please send us the info

As a slight aside, Nick Stevens was quoted as starting training a little early because he is 3-4kg overweight.

3-4kg...yet, somehow that means his weight has "ballooned" according to the HS. :garthp:

The carlton version...Its a case of getting guys back overweight and not in good condition..its the culture of our club that this does happen and we accept this and thats been set by the more experienced guys etc etc....
we are a amateur club in comparison to others who set low standards for ourselves and achieve them with ease....

I guess thats why we are a bottom team and the Crows are finals material...different set of standards with ours being much lower....

Yes...I agree with Elwood. We need to take a leaf out of Adelaide's book. Let's get to the root of the problem and stop going on - and on - about a few kilos that we really don't know exist or not.

Hey mods what are the stats for the most topics on one player? My guess is Lance Whitnall by 8 topics.

PS: You can catch me at the comedy club most Friday nights

I read that and was wondering if it was you.

Sad that I live so far out that I end up reading crappy pages of the Herald Sun on the train to pass the time

Well it has taken me a couple of days to catch up with everything here. It is clear to me though that:

1. Lance has comeback somewhat overweight and does not have as professional an attitude as he should. However, I am sure that many footballers come back overweight.

2. The club do not have the ability to convince Lance that his weight is an important issue and one that should not get out of control. We did not have him on any program in the off-season. We deserve the results.

3. The club clearly wants Lance on the playing list. He has immense talent and the club has a limited supply of that.

4. We have picks 1 and 4 in the draft. Yay!!! (I thought I would throw that positive bit of news in).

Well, I've just come back from training, and to my rosy coloured eyes Lance looks just fine. It's possible he is a little out of condition (running etc), but there is no way he weighs 108kgs or close.

Give it a rest until he presents himself at match time in the "alleged" state.
