For me it all gets back to 2 simple questions.

1. Is Lance professional enough and dedicated enough for his younger teammates to consider him a senior role model and leader of the playing group and therefore be part of the leadership group (and be remunerated accordingly)? No

2. Should Lance be removed from all player leadership responsibilities so he can concentrate on his own personal fitness issues and playing performance? Yes

Well, I've just come back from training, and to my rosy coloured eyes Lance looks just fine. It's possible he is a little out of condition (running etc), but there is no way he weighs 108kgs or close.

Give it a rest until he presents himself at match time in the "alleged" state.

Does that mean a training report will be coming? 8)

Michael Stevens 22nd Nov;
Stevens, 25, who enjoys a beer, was a regular at the spring racing carnival. He's implying Stevens has been on the gas all spring.

Michael Stevens article 24th Nov;
"I didn't actually run over the whole break because I had sore groins towards the end of last year and needed the rest," Nick Stevens said.

It's amazing what happens when you actually ask the question of the source of the story, oooops that would mean there wouldn't be a real story wouldn't it.

Now we've got 2 days out of the Lance/Stevens issue. Maybe we'll have another interview with Lance explainig his position making it 3 stories from nothing, plus Sheehans peice, good work Michael, 3 cheers!!

Had a chat tonight with one of the Carlton physios.
Lance is on a modified program due to an osteitis pubis type groin injury that dates back to last season.
The club actually doesn't want him to do too much running and his weight isn't a concern at the moment.
Ditto Nick Stevens.
Fevola has a similar problem and the club decided that surgery was the best course of action in his case.

[quote="JuzzCarlton"]The Herald Sun is never wrong!
What ? So I shouldn't believe Andrew Bolt when he says that the Greens are the same as the Nazis ?
So I shouldn't believe that all my personal medical records will be sold off by my GP, as reported on the front page a few months ago ?
So I shouldn't take as gospel everything that Walkley award winning investigative journalist Mike Sheahan writes ?
And surely you're not suggesting Juzz Carlton, that Mark Robinson was correct last year when he said Brett Thornton was actually Trent Sporn (I'm not making this up !) ?

If Lance has kid (especially a son), will his nickname be The Lancet?
