Yeh, well if Carlton had kicked 22 goals 7 behinds then we would have had an even better win. Also in the second quarter Kennedy dived straight into Lucas's legs - no free kick. Identical to one Murphy got paid against him a few weeks ago.

BT was an absolute flower in that 3rd qtr, as was the umpire who missed Kennedy's throw to Le Cras for a goal.

Warnock was super. He has been labelled soft by many on here but he uses his body properly in ruck contests. Quality ruckman.

Yarran terrific. Recruited to give us mid sized X factor forward & we got it in spades tonight. Keep him there!!

Most pleasing aspect for me was keeping West Coast goalless in the final qtr. Some of our boys (Carrazzo) looked buggered in the last 10 min but we just grinded out the win which will be great for our self belief. Light week on the track this week I would say.

A liability on the last line when he's not.

You need a BP who can make tackles stick.

He's done some very ordinary things in the first 4 rounds on the last line...dropping plenty of marks, ordinary handballs which dont make the distance, kicks not hitting targets, weak tackling, bad shooting for goal (except that last goal...but that was when he was forward.

He's past his best and has to learn to play within himself. He can't do the things he use to do to break lines. He lost 1/2 a yard last year and seems to have lost another 1/2 yard this year.

I don't think its form...maybe it is a bit (hopefully)...I think he can still play an integral part in our 22...his desire and desperation are Simmoesque, but he needs to play with less risk than he's been use to....IMO.

He needs to learn to put pressure on the man and go for the ball when its his turn.

I am in no doubt now that we must persevere with this kid because he's showing signs of improvement every week.

I love the speed he has to run out of defense or creating space.

He'll be a beauty by the end of the year at this rate...IMO
