Tigers lose today and they'll be that little more hungry to give up something worthwhile for Yarran

Not supporting SOS here but please tell which recruiter has gotten it right 80, 90 or 100% of the time.

Go back over the past 10 years and you will struggle to see a 60% pass mark.

Even guys like Wells and the supposed guru Clayton have had their share of misses.

I take your point Cazz but SOS seems to have so much power at Carlton it seems a return of the messiah complex. Is he list manager, chief recruiter, both?
We are bottom because our drafting, player development etc have been one of the worst in the League, so we need to nail it. No-one gets 100% and all clubs have lots of players that don't measure up. But over the period when we were last bottom and had great picks (not too mention 3 consecutive first rounders Lucas, Bootsma and Watson) we continually failed to draft better than almost anyone.

If SOS decides to get Carlisle then that will be irrefutable proof that he shouldn't be making any decisions.

We'll wait and see.

Exackary.

Hearing Richo bemoaning their lack of "crumbers" filled me with joy. :smoking:

Tiges lost yet another elimination final. Lacked polish at crucial times. Yarran value just went up for them. I think his best is yet to come. Would prefer to see it at Carlton.

They got smashed in the contested ball. Yarran can't help them.

That's cool. I loved getting Setanta and Aisake and I love getting Matt. I uh ... I seem to love tall men from overseas.

Jarrod Witts' refusal to be traded to GWS means Pies now OUT of race for Kruezer.

Now looks increasingly likely to stay at Carlton.
