How crap must Josh Walker be if they are giving him to us with a good draft pick..

We already have Jones, no thanks.

Theyll be bundling him up with a second rounder - cannot imagine it being a first....what a bargain

True...They may try and trick us into thinking they've already sweetened the deal by offering the mighty Josh Walker and a second rounder, but IMO they will need to throw in some other delistee dud or a fourth rounder to get it over the line

Throw in a new hovercraft in the deal and I'm sold.

Malthouse would have made that deal and thought it was the deal of a life time for Carlton.

So we turn Hendo out early, pay out his contract, allow him to rest and re energise to get ready for a big pre season with Geelong, and then end up with Josh Walker  (sorry I cant find a vomit emoticon).

Josh Walker can play. Probably seen as surplus to Geelong's needs up forward when they have Hawkins, Vardy, Clarke, Stanley and Kersten (though not sure of his contract status) as tall options. He'll be 23 in November. Has good hands, hits contests hard (doesn't mind the physical contest) and has a good work rate. He's also quick. At Geelong's time trials it's Mark Blicavs, Selwood then Walker. Can play as a lead up forward or pinch hit in the ruck (which would leave Levi to play forward all game). He knows what a successful club environment looks like and that you need to work hard to make it (having come off Geelong's rookie list, like Carrazzo which worked out pretty well for us). And for those who like trivia his Grandfather is Geelong premiership player Peter Walker.

Love how the media (usually Robbo) thinks Henderson is worth no more than a second round pick whereas Carlisle (potentially with two years over his head) is worth a top 10 pick.

What has Carlisle done that makes him better than Hendo? Played in better team? No. Played good finals footy? No. Shown leadership qualities? No.

I don't see it. Maybe (and only maybe) Carlisle's ceiling is higher but I am not convinced.

How did this latter day Royce Hart end up in the Rookie Draft? Dean Cox Mk 2? What was the initial rub on him that saw every club overlook him a couple of times before Geelong finally picked him up?

Robbo just sees it through rose coloured glasses as he's a Cheats supporter. Wouldn't take what he says too seriously.
As a matter of fact Henderson for Walker and nothing else? How are these people employed if they're experts? Should call them charlatans, con artists or whatever you want to call them.

I agree - needs to be a first rounder.
Not interested in fringe players from other clubs - we have enough of these already.
