We are very keen on Plowman and Phillips.. Bell for a second round pick?? Pass that on..
Take pick 12 to the draft.
Aish, PSD, hoping.
Still hopeful that Rice picks us.
Weitering, Rice, Aish, Plowman, Phillips and pick 12, could turn out great if things go our way..

Bell is a 3rd rounder at best.

Disagree, if Redden is worth 17 then Bell for third rounder is like taking an unlubed coke can up the clacker

The Age saying 21 for Bell & Levi is being considered.

Not sure how I feel about that. I'd probably do it for pick 17 but I do worry about having no key forward to speak of on the list.

Players like Blaine Boekhorst, Dylan Buckley, Patrick Cripps, Sam Docherty and even Andrejs Everitt who play through the midfield, halfback or half-forward are those they need to keep going forward.

But Pelchen says the club needs to figure out who will be standing on the dais when Carlton next win a grand final.

“Players like Gibbs, Kreuzer, Menzel, Murphy or even Tuohy, they’re all required players but ultimately are they going to be apart of the next premiership?” Pelchen asked.

So keep Everitt but trade Menzel because Menzel is old?

Warnock?
Really?
No...I mean REALLY?
Be an expensive 2s player as we know...and the GWS issue was about losing Mumford's physical impact when he went down. Loved it when he said he "tried to hurt" the opposition - just not enough of that going around

For the life of me can't see what they may be thinking...we must be on different planet

Has anyone seen Pelchen and Wallace in the same room? I'm becoming convinced Pelchen is just Terry with a fake nose and some make-up.

It'd explain the synchronicity of their bygone-era list strategies for Carlton.

Probably thinking the same thing that had us continually offering him a contract: "if we can get him AFL fit, he could dominate."

Never happened. They have better fitness resources than us though (at least until now).

Would you do Bell and Casboult for Tomlinson? It seems to me if we want to land Tomlinson we'll probably have to on-trade the Bell/Casboult pick.

The Crows could have demanded Geelong's first round pick next year as well as this year's pick, but they also knew that the Cats needed that pick for Lachie Henderson. The Cats were already going to have to sweet talk the Blues about the fact the first round pick they thought they were going to get this year for Henderson was suddenly going to the Crows. Carlton will wear getting next year's first round.

17 for Redden and 25 for Chompers says we're getting screwed in that trade.

How does picking two GWS rejects struggling to get a game, let alone impact a game be good for us?
Haven't we learned anything from last years disasters. Anyone seen Philips play?

Looks like the Aints won't give pick 5 for Carlisle and will be exploring options that eventuate pick 5 for 2 first rounders.

If they eventuate, Would we do Yarran pick (pick 12) and Hendo pick (first rounder next year) for pick 5?

If we have a clear player in mind for pick 5 then I would strongly consider it. But I'm in no mind to help out with the Carlisle deal.
