Harry madden was a beautiful kick for goal (set shots) however he also dobbed to nice ones on the run (a funny sight)

The top three IMHO would have to Ditchburn, Ralph & Fev

Warren Ralph was a lovely kick with a classically fluid style but probably did not have the length of the other two.

Fev can hardly be matched by anyone beyond 45 metres but is a bit less accurate closer in.

Ross Ditchburn could kick them just about as far as Fev but still maintained his accuarcy closer in - so he would get my vote.

Should also mention Stephen Oliver (the most wasted talent ever) - in the few games he was convinced to play for Carlton he was a fantastic kick at goal. Those multiple tons he kicked up the bush could easily have been replicated in the big time.

Gonzo Ralph was best for action IMO - & had length. Fev is right up there also. Thought Molly Meldrum was excellent within 40, as was Ashman, Buckley & Maylin. Braddles was very reliable under pressure. Waite could do with watching some vids of these guys. And of course Harmesy was superb on the run...
