Fevolaaaa you are out of line by baiting Brettie. So just leave it alone. All Carlton supporter sites are valid in their own right and each supporter is allowed at the site that they choose as long as they behave themselves.

There is nothing superior about being positive. I personally think that it is better to mix in the negative with the positive. That way you get a better sense of reality. We can not go forward as a club unless we have a realistic view of where we are now. :?

The revolving door that is Carlton selection just keeps on revolving. Nothing can stop it!

Listen to Pagan's post-sydney press conference. He used the term "shuffling the deck chairs". That says it all. (I think he was actually a tad regretful that he uttered that phrase cos he tried to qualify it afterward).

Synbad, please don't tell me that Simmo is a long term option.
He may have great kicking skills but with the game time he has had he should at least accrue half a dozen possies per match. Instead he gets one or two and does little with them.

He doesn't have the anger/the aggression essential for a league footballer.
he looks way too cheerful out there for my liking. In some odd way he even reminds me of Athorn. Please don't bring back simmo.

Brisbane have caused plenty of pain to us over the last few years if that doesn't get the blues fired up for a first quarter blitz of goals nothing will.

Exactly what i thought as soon as i read the teams. Perfect chance for the youngsters to learn from the best, but instead back to play against Joe Blow.

PS: Extractor I was a pretty average mood yesterday too. Still am.

DP is trying to get these fringe players to cement a spot in the team. Some of them might be racking up disposals in half a game, but really, they haven't set the world on fire  .

They need to improve their decisions and clean up their disposal. The blokes on the rotating policy need to be able to break a tackle and bomb a goal from 55 out, not just run around in circles kicking to blokes under the pump.

They need to break from an opponent when a team mate gets the pill up field to creat a target rather than hovering around hoping their opponent drops it. They need to hold tackles like they were pre season and punish the ball carrier instead of letting him run into space and deliver into their forward 50 with ease. They should be knocking the ball on and using their freakin scons to give their team mates a chance  .

I say keep rotating them until we find those who will do the tuff stuff and show the door to the rest. :|

Can't complain about Bowyer getting a game as it seems he has been in the best for the Bullants for a few weeks in a row. Must reward players for putting in and consistently good form in the ressies. All player have to know that if they perform they will be given a chance. Just would like to see Karl's name amongst the best for a few weeks.

I would have thought Digby would have maintained his spot to give us some options covering the big bodies in the Lions team down the spine or even as relief in the ruck for Bryan. Probably going to use Prenda in that role. Maybe the MC might think we are going to be exposed by the Lions midfield and need more hard bodies in there particularly if the Lions play Brown at the centre bounce to soften up a few players. Certainly can't say that Johnson and Bowyer have any concerns about tough physical football.

I really can't understand our backline selections!!!

We have the worst defence in the comp. Week after week we are exposed for being TOO SMALL. I can't believe that even after 11 games our 'brains trust' hasn't realised that teams are setting up much taller forward lines especially against us. It's called 'exposing a team's weakness', i'm sure it's in most coaching manuals!

We have had Deluca, Prenda, and Whits all playing down there - none of which are defenders (although Whitnall has been ok down back at times)

So this week we drop one of very few tallish players that can play down back in Morrell. We have Norman in the reserves who plays ALL his games in defence. I watched him closely in his senior games this year and thought he has gone ok. He has to be given a game - we can't continue to rely on Teague matching up against the likes of Goodes, Roberston, Williams etc he is too small and too slow for these guys!! Teague is doing the best he can but he has been given massive tasks this year. Norman has to be given a shot. People here talk about his attitude not being good enough. There are a few in the seniors with a questionable attitude IMO!
