There's still some sections of the media running the 'they're playing with freedom now that the shackles are off' narrative.

That may have applied to the Teague ascendancy but I think us more astute watchers are picking up that we actually look pretty damn structured & focused under Fraser. We're very sound defensively & we're playing with intensity in last quarters of all his games.

Fraser himself has an intensity about him too on the training track, judging by the bake I saw him give a senior player on the outer wing at open training last week.

If it continues to go well I'd be more than happy if he applied, among others.

He gave a senior player a spray ? Didn't think he had it in him . Good , I feel better already .

I posted a couple weeks back what players said of Fraser at the Sponsors night. He did give the players a spray in the preseason when he was at the club for 5 minutes. He was a stickler about fundamentals they were instructed to apply. Fundamentals continue to get on his nerves when not adopted at training. He isnt shy to show his annoyance, and players called it a "spray".

Depends on what a spray looks like. There's a Kingsley spray with intimidating glaring eyes, swearing and belittling, and a Parkin spray with his veins popping out of his neck and eyes bleeding. Somehow I dont see Fraser giving one of those types of sprays. He seems more measured ... but that is only my perception.

I like how he stays in the coaches box.
Voss constantly fretting on the boundary line just gave me the shits.

He always looks so upset and depressed. Very monotone sort of dude.

The media is even now starting to notice and tell him to liven up.

I know Richmond people who are already starting to hate him

As a side note, in his last press conference he started sounding more and more like Voss.
Talking about connection, playing roles, growing as players, F50 entries etc.

Yes, I've noticed this too. The presser after the Giants was like Voss using Fraser's body as a medium to communicate with us.

Thankfully he hasn't yet started talking about "nourishment" and "our values".

re: "nourishment"

read somewhere Fras is even strong on the fundamentals of diet and so on, hopefully sleep hygiene too during the WC!

Who thinks the Giants were off because they all got up at 4AM to watch the USA v Aust game? It was suggested by one of the ABC commentators during the game. Mind you they kept singing the Giant's praises until about ten minutes into the fourth quarter.
