I want an assistant coach who will be at the club 24/7. That's why I was so pissed off when Collingwood signed Carey. Look at what he has done for our forwards (both young and old) by only turning up once a week. Imagine what he would be able to do for us if he were helping out 24/7?
We really have missed a huge opportunity here.
Im not talking about your assistant coaches...they will be there full-time. I mean some extra sessions to change things up a bit, let the players hear a different voice, see if a Fraser Brown can teach them something they're not already hearing. It also helps promote the history of the club with ex-players giving up their time.
