Oh my...what a sanctimonious response....you have been supporting Carlton since you were 12, but not since 1995? Or supporting Carlton since you were 12 but not Camporeale since 1995? Or supporting Carlton since you were 12 but not "the attitude problem" since....ah....when?

What are you on about?

It really is just either naive or stupid that Kouta would allow his mateship with Campo to be drawn into support for the F@%&#! who isnt coming back.. so its just plain silly to comment the way he did on hoping he would.. instead of making sure the only focus was for the football club and its draft trophies.(seeing that kind of win doesnt come around every day)..
the idiot was drawn into a story about his mate.. who has nothing to do with this footy club anymore.

What a joke.. i'll be honest Synbad, at first i hesitated to have a go at one of your posts because you always seem to shut your opponents up pretty quick smart.. but here you are really clutching at nothing..

It was a typical Herald Sun- "one quote can be drawn out to make an article" article that sat in the corner of a sport section that, over the page, featured almost a full page article on the Blues investing in youth with Kouta and MM arm in arm..

It's obvious to anyone who doesnt want to believe otherwise that someone threw a Campo question at Kouta during his post-draft press conference as it was winding up.. Kouta gave almost the EXACT same response Denis has been giving since this mess began.. Some idiot at the HS has added a few Vozzo quotes (i'm sure he'd be happy to give them as much as they want, what else would he be up to) and all of a sudden the 200 word article is finished..

Some clown at the press conference brought up campo, not Kouta..

Some clown at the HS (possibly the same bloke) made an article out of it, not Kouta..

I'd rather gloss over a tiny article featuring maybe 15 words of Kouta actually quoted, than see him on the back page with "KOUTA SLAGS OFF EX PREMIERSHIP TEAMMATE IN BITTER CARLTON FEUD" or some bull like that around Draft time.

Anyone having a go at Kouta for this really needs to shut the F@%&#! up.

I think you can shut the F@%&#! up... if youre going to tell others to.

Kouta is a dummy... if you can see what he said is DAMAGING TO THE FOOTY CLUB.. youre not much smarter...

You dont get drawn into conversations about Campo.. because these morons have to get it through their heads.. ITS NOT ABOUT THEM ANYMORE!!!!!... its about turning the club around.... with new players.
It is not about Kouta and Campo and Allen and all their little mates....
Cant they get that through their heads????

Sure he was asked a question.. but isnt he a moron for answering it the way he did???.....

just from the clubs perspective its disrespectful.. just as when Campo said "Some of the players know why i did what i did"

I repeat... its really not about Campo and Kouta anymore.. theyre old 'HAT' as Josh would say.... they have no further role or a very limited role in Koutas case in the rebirth....

So stop talking about each other like theyre important.!!!

You tell me.

I go to the footy, and so many people are more interested in bagging the players from the team they support than watching the actual game itself.

That's something I often ask....why bother? It's got me beat, but I'm no psychologist.

since when have you been chosen to speak on behalf of the club.

Camporeale may be a prick, but he has been a servant of the Carlton Football Club for 10 years and some of the shit posted in here is something you would expect from collingwood or richmond supporters.

we are the carlton football club who are going though shit, the last thing we need is all this infighting and bitching around the joint, and smartarses around the club to shut up and let things happen rather than all this stabbing happening.

if you have a problem synbad go tell kouta to his face rather than acting like a mr know it all on the forums

I'm with Synbad on this.

The club need to get everyone sailing in the same direction. The cancerous culture Synbad and others talk of, won't be fully eradicated until Koutoufides' contract expires next year.

The tough stance against Camporeale was necessary, even if it means we lose an experienced player who gets 20 cheap kicks every week. The club have to be equal in how it treats it's players.

The club have a new system of evaluating a player's worth, and the days of experienced players clinging onto their overly generous contracts are just about over.

Kouta's contract renegotiations in 2006 will be fascinating to say the least. If we thought the Lance, Campo and Lappin fiascos were something, look out come Sept 2006.

Camporeale's assessment of his self-worth is totally unrealistic. Come late 2006, he became a BP player who only provided one or two good runs a game. He is replaceable, and therefore is not worth $500k-$600k.

The extent to which supporters lambast Camporeale for what he has done is their perogative, as it is others to say they disagree with their degree of criticism of the former Premiership player.

I don't think it's for one poster to tell another poster how they should or should not react to a player taking a massive dump on the Club that we all barrack for. For many, what Camporale has done, right when we need some leadership, some efforts, a guiding hand for our young list, is nothing short of disgraceful. It's rational for us to be upset at that. If you can put that to the side I congratulate you. Yes, he's a Premiership Player, but he's a Premiership Player who appears to have enjoyed kicking the CLub in the guts.

Molsey, you can't stop others in here from saying certain posters have gone too far in laying the boots into Camporeale, or any player for that matter. It's the nature of online communication. Anyhow, I am firmly in the anti-Camporeale faction like you seem to be. What he has done is wrong.

I think Kouta could have handled it better, he didn't because he is not a great captain so I grit my teeth and wait just like I have for many these these past few years. Time removes all stains. This period will, in time, be removed.

Kouta has never bagged a playER the whole time he has been at the club and certainly not while he has been captain.

Campo is a flower for leaving in the circumstances he did but there is too much to be positive about at the moment.
