He isn't under-rated at all, he is considered to be the next big thing. Unfortunately, too many people believe he will be a key position player when he never will be. Once that is drilled into their grey matter, they will look at Waite in a completely different light.

I think he's pretty well rated at the moment. Get that kicking right and he will be up there with those names.

Sheik, why can't he be CHF, has the height and all the attributes. We could revolutionise the football world with three CHFs working in tandem. :P

He certainly will do very well in that spot until JK makes it his own.

There you go again!

Two of those are budding (if not are) "Superstars"; and Waite is a young fairly ordinary player who we hope may turn out to be a really good player one day.

You are saying he is "considered" to be the next big thing. Too many people "believe" he will be a key position player.

Either provide examples of where this has happened or stop putting words in people's mouths. So much crap is made up on the internet and spouted as "the truth" when it's nothing but a fabrication, as is definitely the case here. Unless you can provide proof of where everyone is "considering" him as the next big thing and where so many people are believeing he will be a key position player, any claims he is overrated is pure rubbish.

A handful of people may be saying so.

Sweeping statements.

I'm not referring to output, I'm referring to how they play the game, he plays in a similar fashion.

No one is hanging sh!t Verbs. I think he has been good for us but get real about Reiwoldt and Pavlich comparisons please. And don't say to provide examples of it because it is right here in this thread to be seen.

I'll eat, watch WLF, then reply to the poor comprehension about comparisons going on in this thread.

English teachers have a lot to answer for.

Waite is producing similar numbers in terms of possessions, marks and goals to Kernahan at the same age.

Very good player already IMO, with more improvement to come.

Rest is up to Jarrad.

What, you reckon it should be "English teacher's have a lot to answer for"? or "English teachers have alot to answer for"?

He won't be that damaging at CHF as he is 192cm, look at who the dominant CHF are in the competition. They are taller and have an obvious weight advantage that goes with it.

Three CHF's ?? Perish the thought, I'm about to wet my pants in excitment !!

He has longish arms though.

I really don't understand what the fuss is with my comments, if you were to say "Jarrad Waite reminds me of...", who would you name?

Well, what's the point of a thread saying Waite is overrated? It's either having a go at him or....um....these phantom people building him up to be some sort of superstar. The way it's being presented here is that thousands of people are saying he's some Great God. That is completely untrue.

If someone says he will "become" a great player (just one person's opinion mind you) even though he isn't the greatest set shot for goal, and then gives an example of a "great player" who isn't the best set shot for goal...all of a sudden Waite is being compared with Reiwoldt. Clearly he wasn't, and to try and make crap up like that is foolish.

It's crap to say Waite is overrated. As I said, a handful of people might say he's going to be a superstar, but that's it.
