Flower - the last player on One HD was Carrots before Lonergan buried him into the turf.

Yes, when will Coutts allow Hat to front the media alone?

Quote:
A fourth speaker has been confirmed for Mumbrella Question Time in Melbourne on 8 August.

Ian Coutts, general manager of communications at Carlton Football Club, joins a panel that includes adman Sean Cummins, media agency exec Mark McCraith and Darren Woolley of agency relationship firm TrinityP3.

Coutts has spent 20 years at Carlton Football Club, beginning in the marketing department as marketing services manager until taking over as general manager of communications in 1998.

He has also spent stints in the marketing department at The Age, and sister magazine company Syme Magazines, now ACP Syme Magazines.

Coutts’ role involves growing the Carlton Football Club brand, with a heavy emphasis on social media. The club has seen its Facebook fan base grow from 20,000 in 2010 to 130,000 this year. Twitter followers have grown from 2,000 to 20,000 over the same period.

Yeah, for some reason I have my doubts on how much we can credit him for that :donk:

7:50pm Friday and it appears the $200 raffle is back

This club has some serious issues on how they treat their supporters and members.

I had about 6 calls last year over 6-8 months. Each time from some 3rd party with some cheery person asking how I think the boys will go this weekend (this time if I'm going along to watch tomorrow).

I asked again to be taken off their call list, explained that I haven't been happy with the club's membership and communications departments and that my Emails to express concerns hadn't been responded to so I'm not prepared to support their raffle.

I can't justify $200 on a raffle. Could buy 4 boxes of fredo frogs for the kids school fundraiser with that amount of money.

I'm sorry Synners. Do you actually believe that there are so many people doing a piss-poor job at the club, YET COUTTS ISN'T ONE OF THEM??? SERIOUSLY????

I read it as Synbad saying there's 80,000 members going begging. Either way, fairly sure he's no fan of Coutts. Just a hunch.
