Surely now is the time for development and testing the rest of our list? Is there a reason to do anything else?

Graham, Holman, Johnson, Bell now need to play. Might as well play Watson, Lucas as well. Walker, Jamison, Henderson etc get the injuries right and be ready for 2015.

I am hoping we can see a minimum of 10 young new talented kids on our list in 2015. There is NO other way.

caNt wait to see those players testing their skills v the saints kids...
loser wins spoon.... id love to see that more than anything....

Sadly, you're not taking the piss.
St Kilda, of all clubs, performs the ultimate act of humiliation on the once mighty Blues, vindicating all you have preached on these boards for so many years. St Kilda .....

But wouldn't it be better to go down with, for example, Graham/Holman getting a crack instead of Brock continuing his slow demise? True, there isn't a lot of love for our kids in the twos - especially from Mighty Mick it seems - but the point posters like Psych et-al keep making is they at least deserve the opportunity. They are performing well at that level.
Can't say there is anything to lose. Rightly or wrongly, we picked 'em, so we might as well play 'em. Season was shot months ago and we're still paying lip service to our kids.

We're being taunted in the Herald Sun today

(1) AT CARLTON, Sam Jacobs has become the definition of the one that got away.
(2) He's been gone 2 minutes but CROWS coach Brenton Sanderson wants the old scoreboard pocket at Adelaide Oval renamed the Eddie Betts pocket.

Jon Ralph.

Nothing but a toady little turd with issues who likes to pick his nose and flick it

..he might be a knob, but he's not too far off regarding Jacobs.. ..probably the in form ruck of the season, another AA opportunity for him..

ok on blokes like graham and holman....
theyre not going to be taken fair dinkum till they start doing whats been asked of them
same with waite and lucas and garlett

johnson does so as a rookie he has been catapulted ahead of them...

waites career at carlton is very grim... as well as playing with an injury .. his biggest problem is his mindset.

games wont be handed to those that dont do the work.... no mtter how cannon foodder carrazzo and mclean are right now...

These guys aren't "doing the work" in the seniors either based on the criticism of the current side.

Are they not being handed games?

Now that the season is gone can the fans not be 'handed' at least a look at these kids for a whole game?

Surely our support can be regarded as "doing the work".

Agree waite is a fruit cake. The most frustrating player we have. Is it too late to trade him.....he seems to still have his athleticism, he could be a useful recruit for a side needing an experienced forward for another 1-2 years.sometimes these sorts of players can get a new lease of life in a new club where they have to prove themselves again.

Warnock would land one of them if not direct then via a three way deal where we acquire a draft pick

Does the PSD still exist? Finish last and get the other kid this way

Every year everyone is link to Carlton. Won't happen.

Rucks always have currency

Even Hampson got us a decent pick

Warnock dominates hit outs and is of serious height so he'd be worth more than Hampson

What would they need Warnock for? I reckon Judd would be a better fit.

Didn't say he had no currency. Just that you'd be dreaming if you though you could get Shiel for him.

First pick and a player combination could get it done.

Everyone bar Murphy, Hendo, and 3-4 good young players should be up for grabs
