OK, we're getting there. But these miskicks need some confirmation - sounds like there were 2 incidents;

1) a shanked shot for goal that was rebounded
2) a shanked kick-in and throw that led to an opposition goal.

Best guess for games / opponents?

My best memory of Dorotich was the round 19 game against St Kilda at Waverley in 1992. He was easily our best to half time playing at centre half back and we went in at half time about 4 goals down. Third quarter Parkin moved to the forward line and I swear for the first ten minutes of the third quarter Dorotich turned into Gary Ablett. We kicked about 6 in 10 minutes - he kicked two or three and had a hand in all of the others. We won pretty easily.

Date was Sunday 9 August 1992 - I remember because my sister gave birth to her first child - and my first nephew that day - I visited her on the way to the ground. I suggested to my brother-in-law that my nephew be called Dora in honour of the great game he played that day. My brother-in-law, a keen Collingwood supporter decided against it.

There was however another "big" game that day and this game did not get on TV (and in those days there was no commentary on it whatsoever). Pity because the game was a ripper.

Earlier in that year he missed the sitter after the siren against the Tiges meaning we lost by 3 points - also at Waverley. But 1992 and 1986 were his best years.
