So if the option has been put forward to him, does that mean we are trying to get him to head back to Perth?

yes

But the Bower I watched in the last two games looked pretty good!

I dunno.... I just hope it doesn't happen.

It could be a curse...TBV sponsors Norman (via mostly now TC members) and now this.

If he stays, anyone got pics of him playing in the two games he managed this year? It would be nice to see him in the banner wearing a CFC jumper.

How long do we sponsor him for? Until Decemeber 31?

morning,

I can honestly say thats what i been told. I never said he going to leave but the situation has definitely been discussed and the option put forward to him.

I can tell you also that the club has tried every approach to get t-bird to change his mind and he will not budge.

Grant and Sticks meet with him on sunday, several calls from Kouta, players and including a ledgend of the club who mentored Bret have all failed to get through to him.

Met Thornton where? In Fiji, which is where he is?

Think he was at Corey McGrath's wedding

I saw him at the Nth Melbourne 7-11.

He had his hair all slicked back, he was wearing sequins on his jump suit and when the guy behind the counter gave him a Coke he said,

"Thank-you very much."

Next year Deluca? Teague? Anyone else that should have been delisted?

Me thinks Hansen may be on the radar if Hurn is being sussed out in exchange for Bower.

Why would a South Australian leave the Eagles for a struggling Victorian side?

We need a Bower to succeed and make it as much as we need a Hurn.

What about travel – have you been to Ireland before?
No, it’s actually the first time I’ve been to Ireland. Raso and I think Bower are over there at the moment, spending time with Setanta and Aisake.

Kade Simpson 'thinks' Pauls over in Ireland with the O'hAilpins... you'd think if the boy was homesick he'd be in WA right now instead of in Irelnd which could rule this rumour out. If Kade's right I think that suggests he gets along with a few of the boys really well especially if he's willing to travel that far with them already :)

I think it was more about the club having an offer for him than about Paul wanting to leave.

The Dockers may have offered Polak and a 4th for Bower.

if Melvey is right, I'd take Hurn for a Russell in a 3 way trade

Hurn was a carlton supporter....... maybe there is something to it

I'm pretty sure Bower is OS at the moment.
