We need first to ESTABLISH what people have been up to around the club... have they been satisfactory... how they have reached their position.. and where its all fallen down ...if in fact it has...

The club is screaming out for a review. We are directionless and need a road map. How could anyone defend our processes and results over the past 10 years?

yes sandra.. my agenda is an independent review of this footy ciub.... but thats hardly a bad thing if its truly independent is it???
we need some honesty about ourselves so we can go forward ...
an independent review would deliver that more effectively than whats been the status quo.


im struggling to find one reason why an independent review would hurt this once proud footy club....

we need a review to establish that the board is made up of yes men to shore up the hold on power ??

we need a review to establish the CEO and board have erred in proper procedure in FD appointments ??

we need a review to establish the board and CEO have erred in proper procedure in implementing effective public PR ??


WE NEED the current stranglehold on power to be cracked for any significant change to be possible !

I'm all for a review. What are we afraid of? Geelong's review some years back has set up that club. We need to do the same.

What needs to happen is we need overwhelming support for an independnt review of the club from top to bottom....
This will come if we all get behind it.. demand it.. use every means we can to get it through inclusing the media.

Im sure Caro would love to do a story on the CFC and sticks and his lack of accountabity as he leads an underperformng club for his own selfish reason into another season

Mine means we pressure him and use media to put the spotight on him till he agreees to have it.. or ignores the calls..

One Area which really made my blood Boil last year was the Recruitment Department....

I can't aim the fingers at Malthouse because he came late to the Scene. When the Trade period began, We sent out a pathetic statement saying:

" The Carlton footy Club will not be participating in any trades as our List is stable and strong, and we have all areas covered. We are near the doors of challenging for the primership "


The drafts that followed saw us follow the same trend and hold the same statement. It is simply pathetic and unacceptable.

The Club needs to be aggressive in targeting some established players. That means getting rid of house hold names such as Gibbs or Carrazo or even Judd.

We have so many average middle rank footballers in our team. They show a bit, but when it comes to the big games and playing the top 8 clubs, they can't compete with them. Get rid of them or trade them.

The Players in my mind who will never take us anywhere and need to be looked at are:

Casboult
Duigan

O'Keffe
