Well said.

Look, fair call, but what did Russell do to justify this omission?

At times like these, we as supporters need some hope.
Last weekend we caught a glimmer of hope through Jordan's debut.

It just doesn't make sense to drop him.

DP and maybe Jordan himself mightn't think he's ready to go mentally & physically at AFL level yet. Remember orientation day at school...maybe the same thing for JR last week. Maybe Pagan was just giving him a look at AFL and doesn't want to mentally crush him like Brittian did to Livo.
You might say well what about all the other 18yo's who are playing AFL...well maybe some of them aren't ready yet either. I watched a couple of high profiled young pie players last night who didn't look mentally ready yet.
PATIENCE PEOPLE.

Campo was reasonably good last week but that wouldn't matter to many on here..

Agree though that dropping Russell is a disgrace.

How did his opponent go?

His opponent for a large portion of the game was Dal Santo, Campo beat Dal Santo early on and Dal Santo had a good third quarter but then again St Kilda kicked about 10 goals unanswered so it's hardly Campo's fault.

Russell still looked off the pace of AFL footy and Schwarze was moved onto him to exploit his lack of size.Which he did by too easily getting away from Russell, who at one point conceded a free kick with a late tackle.
Who would he be a match for in tomorrow's match? Perhaps Crowley who isn't a key and I wouldn't let him anywhere near Headland.

Campo lets his opponents run riot. He's about as accountable as Rodney Adler. Still, he scummed a few kicks across half back so he's not the worst, is he?

His opponent was Dal Santo last week. And as one of the anti-Campo brigade I will say he wasn't that bad last week in all honesty.

Kouta on the other hand...

See Deano if Clem is agreeing with me about Camporeale then he can't have been THAT bad! :)

I can understand that people aren't exactly fond of Camporeale but it's pretty clear that peoples' anti-Campo bias prevents them from watching his game with any hint of objectivity. You have to judge each individual game on its own merits, whatever you might think of a player.

Agree Clem about Kouta, I reckon Campo, for all the shit he cops, is going a fair bit better than Kouta at the moment...
