I don't know your opinion on the whole Camporeale situation Headplant but I hope that you are able to judge his matches objectively and on their own merits. Not suggesting you aren't, it's just that a lot of people here don't judge his performances objectively, letting their anti-Campo biases cloud their judgments.
No, it's nothing to do with anti-Campo bias. I'm not anti anyone (except Sheedy and the Essendon* Commissioners).
I have been judging his performances on how he gets the ball, what he does or attemtps to do when he gets it, what he does when he does not have it, and his overall on-field demeanor. It is the last 2 I have the most problems with this year. My greatest concern ... watching him point to his own opponent, not 15m away, suggesting someone else should man up on him, when he himself is free and everyone else in the immediate vicinity is manned. Then seeing him alone watching one opponent stroll away from him down the centre corridoor unmanned when the opposition have possession at HBF, to receive the ball between centre and CHF and run in unmarked to kick a goal.
I'm sorry, but that is not leadership, it is lazy and irresponsible, and he is doing it too often. Lack of chasing in turnovers is a separate issue, and not my main criticism.
