Rucks always have currency

Even Hampson got us a decent pick

Warnock dominates hit outs and is of serious height so he'd be worth more than Hampson

Didn't say he had no currency. Just that you'd be dreaming if you though you could get Shiel for him.

First pick and a player combination could get it done.

Everyone bar Murphy, Hendo, and 3-4 good young players should be up for grabs

Agree.
Warnock alone won't get you either of them.

..I wouldn't be offering a top ten pick plus a decent player for shiel.. ....an average player they don't need.. ...an aging 'star' perhaps..?..

For both Shiel and Jaksch I would.

Walker would be perfect.

They traded Shaw for Adams.

Pick 5 and one of our 'senior' players like Walker or Jamo for both is about square.

Or the same deal for Boyd if they are high

..dane, we can also use the 'crumbling forward' role for our resting mids.. ..or alternatively use Buckley up there, we know he has the appetite for it..

Ellard plays a good small forward role.

I love Dane's post especially what he thinks we need for our club.

I wouldn't get rid of all of those experienced players. It sounds good on paper but we need to hold a few of them as depth as long as the youngsters taking their spots can hold up. If they cannot then having some experience is important.

Trade / Delist Walker????

No way!

I know im watching from afar these past two years but i still see Walker as highly valuable to this club.

Turnover king of late.
I'd say if we don't get a reasonable offer for him try him as that 3rd tall next year.
Or that's it. Can't carry players who continually turn the ball over.

Disagree. No X factor. Not illusive, not creative, not quick, nimble or agile. No burst, no hunger -- a no hoper.

He's not in a top 5 or 6 team's forward pocket ... pass.

Great effort.

The only changes I would make are Walker and Warnock on the depth list. If we can get good trades for them that's fine but there's no chance I would delist. Plus you'll need Warnock as a backup. Kruezer isn't exactly reliable.

And both are signed up next year.

In addition I'd like to say that there's very little chance Garlett and McLean will be delisted or traded IMO.
