So who's for making a new forum where the mods promote topics from this one for discussion and have full removal powers on posts in said threads? GOD KNOWS I AM.

JuzzCarlton, doesn't Jordan's inability to consistently beat smaller opponents in the VFL such as Leon Davis and Justin Berry cause you some concern ?
If he's such a good mark, why does he get outmarked so often ?

He beat an AFL player in Davis the one time he played against Leon in round 8 last year and held him goalless. But that's just a one off and a fluke.

Where have I said he was such a good mark? :?

Jordan has run back with the flight to mark overhead with his eyes solely on the ball even though his opponent and his teammate had their name written on that ball. He has the potential and will improve and it's pretty pathetic to get stuck into a player after only one year.

How was Kade Simpson travelling at the start of his second year on our list?

Just slightly off the topic, but Marc Murphy would want to be a superstar based on Dale Thomas' showing this evening in Perth.

GUN!

So Murph needs to get his arse into gear if he wants to surpass Thomas' ONE solid game?

Gee, Murph is in trouble.

:garthp:

Nah, not saying exactly that, but the flavour around here has it that Russell looks anything but a senior Bullants player, let alone Carlton player, whilst we're enjoying what Chris Egan has to offer to the senior team on a semi-regular basis so far.

Then it also seems the bona fides of Dale Thomas are all but assured, whilst Murphy gives away 2 inches and seemingly a fair bit of natural inside and outside talent to him.

The "Russell/Egan Fiasco" is likely to end up in "Massie/Tarrant Debacle" territory.

Just wondering if Murphy/Thomas will be read in a similar ways in seasons to come...

I think I'll call it the "Murphy/Thomas Affair".

Billy Morrison, Nixon, Cole and Pendlebury board.

now Synners thats just crap. You have things you desire, things you want to happen, you attempt to make them happen - agendas. Oh and yes its fun tp pretend I drink too much, just like its fun to pretend you are an elite athlete who knows whats what on the football field.

Sorry mate!!!

you stick to your drink and poetrt and allow me to naturally worry about wanting change,

Ypu see.. i want change because im sick of being a rabble.

But i only have ONE AGENDA dannyboy... making sure Carlton is not shit FORE?VER.!!!!

At the moment we have an unimaginative board that has allowed our majesty to slip.. (i dont care what Elliot did.. you cant go mqaking excuses forever... AND you must understand that this club is very unique at the moment.. its the only club fractured into two.
With this board continuing to blame elliot what theyre doing is stopping alot of Elliot supporters from contributing... historically alot of the Elliot supporters were the cash cows of this club.
Now i do believe elliot buggered up the club but this board is unable to fix it.. so to me its a case of "NEXT!!!!!!"... because you cant skip down that road of notingness forever!!!!
We have a coach who has not stemmed the tide Dannyboy..into the fourth year and the players dont have the foggiest.... its as plain as the beer foam under your nose !!!.. the players look confused.. they are perpetually getting thrashed..!!!.. our kids cant take the final steps .. were a rabble!!!

then you get back to blokes like Kouta and Lance...they just are not leadership material.. they set the wrong tone...and over the last few years there is a real apathy and unprofessionalism with the way they have presented themselves and therefore set the standard for MY club.

You see dannyboy... i only have one agenda...!!!!

Turn the club around....!!!

Because if we had senior players that cared... a board that was innovative.. and a coach whos message was understood... i wouldnt have an agenda...!!!

You do what you do dannyyboy and write poetry about flowers and the sun and ill put vent all my frustrations about a blackhole in our clubs history on this sports board ok???

Look dannyboy... you dont have to be an elite sportsman to know this club is sick... and laying in hospital ... you just keep writing your poems about the spring sun hitting your face for the first time after a cold winter and how alive you feel blah blah blah....

Everyone should be just chuffed with two spoons and a second last in the past three years.
Reality called wants to know when some of you are coming to visit.

Reality is a very subjective concept.

Some of you think that reality means we are on track to win a premiership in 4 to 5 years.

With all the best intentions with all the best recruits and plans it just may not happen - (ask the poor unfortunates at St. Kilda  ).

Or you could ask the Rachel Hunters at the Swans - it wont happen overnight but it will happen (well in 72 years it may happen  ).

Reality means we have a very young list who need 50 to 80 games under their belts before they can start producing on a regular basis, we are quick to condemn players like Walker, Simpson, even Murphy and Russell who have only played 1 game between themselves.

All of a sudden Dale Thomas plays one game and he is the next Chris Judd and Marc Murphy is next to useless - give me a break.

Go an follow Aaron - donate all your gold trinkets and make a golden calf.
