Hey Guys,

For CFC members who are interested in backing Pagan until the end of his contract, and casting a vote against the stupid petition on 'Big Footy', posted by 'Cameron Reid', visit TBV.

http://www.theblueview.org/phpboard/viewtopic.php?t=18595

The results will be forwarded to the club.

Thanks.

Look, why would anyone back someone today for another 2 1/2 years from right at this point of time... ????

This is getting ridiculous.
Just leave it and im sure nature will take its course.
No need for petitions one way or another....

Mate I understand your point, but it's about keeping the club, players and supporters together. In fighting does nothing for the club - but support does wonders.

Denis Pagan has a contract in place for 2 more years. The club can't afford to break it, so for the moment we've got to support the club - as it's the only way the club get stronger.

There is a middle ground here. He will stay but we need to enforce changes whether he likes it or not. Dictate to him - first move is to show TE the door. We need change. I know this means an operation for DP but it's necessary. Second bring in an assistant (M.Voss maybe) to take over much of the coaching of the players and push DP into more of a director of coaching role (like Parkin at the end of his career). As for TL - well to have the most negative midfielder of the last 20 years coaching the most unaccountable midfield in the competition is just not working. The main thing is to tell DP how it is!!! This guy will churn out more rubbish about "it's not the coaches it's the players". Can't believe he pulled this line out at the end of 2003 and 2005!! The board has to tell him how it is - but I can't see it happening. All DP has to say is "we butchered the ball", "we need him up, we need him down back", "you'll get beltings with a young list" and the club will let him do what he likes.

No way am I backing someone who had 3 years to improve his game plan to suit our players.

There can be no more excuses. Stiff crap that he has the runs on the board, for all we know it was because of the fantastic players he had in that era, that his input was no big deal.

Every week I watch this team flood from the backline only to have no-one forward. Make no mistake the players cannot do this the whole game. Th is why they never play 4 quarters.

I also have to watch Simpson, and Walker play backline when clearly they are what we are lacking in the midfield. Speed to keep up with todays game.

He blames everyone but himself, he needs to start taking some responsibility. We need fresh blood and new ideas. Kouta is not a flower forward also, he has limited use these days, and that is in the middle along with the young guys until he goes.

I know petitions are extreme but they do make people stand up and take notice, and Carlton need to know its supporters are unhappy with what pagan is doing. The game plan is shit and is only designed to protect his reputation from getting beltings.

NEWS FLASH PAGAN WE ARE STILL GETTING FLOGGINGS, SO LET THE YOUNG GUYS HAVE FUN AND PLAY THEIR OWN ATTACKING GAME.

You look at the young guys and they are so hesitant, and so defensive. So many times Thornton could mark the ball and run and attack but instead punches to the boundary. Not on!!!!!!!!!!! Then when we do run forward, HELLO there is no one there.

These guys that we have are a good bunch of players, they are just low on confidance and don't know what they are doing. It is Pagans responsibility and no-one elses. Moral is also Pagans responsibility. All these Pagan supporters get your head out of the clouds.

Bloody oath I will sign the petition. If it doesn't do anything at least he will know what we are all thinking and we have had enough.

I love Carlton and whatever I can do to fix things I will. No more excuses no matter what the circumstances.

Here's a new petition:

THE STOP MAKING PETITIONS PETITION.

I'm sick of reading the new topics on the main board. All about petitions now. Merge them, lock them and be done with them. He's our coach for now, so let's leave it at that.
