No different to when Collo and Malouf fronted the media 3 months ago. Plenty of excuses no action.
The members have done their bit for the last 3 years waiting for you guys to do something. The members have done enough. If you can't do the job you were elected to do then get the hell out of the job.

Smorgon said the board remains "right behind" Carlton coach Denis Pagan, adding that club is doing its utmost to get back on the winners' list.

What are his chocies Tractor Boy? The only way Denis will leave is if he walks. If he does not walk then the club will need to come up with at least $800,000. What's the chances of that happening?

The chance of it happening are Zilch. Pagan will not step down, nor would i for that matter. I'm just making an observation and asking the question.

I'm sure we've all seen it before. Most recently Smorgan and Rhode. maybe our Smorgan is similar to his cuz.

And at the end of the day if the club decided Pagan is out, then believe me no matter how much money was needed he would be outed. That is a fact.

Good money chasing bad money is a bad business and if that's what the club finally decide, then so be it. For now we just wait for the weekends and hope to get some pleasure from our Footy. :-D

Normally when a president says he's "right behind" the coach it means he's got a dagger in his paw but Smorgon's that out of his depth at the moment that I have little doubt he actually is backing Pagan. :?

Of course they are behind him...they have to pay him about $2 mill if they sack him. I'd be right behind him too!

For the record, Pagan is not getting 800K pa.

It's more along the lines of 500 to 600K. Still, that ain't small bickies!!!!

As Baldrick would say, I heard a cunning plan last night.

Pagan is 7-1 to be first coach sacked.
The board should put up 300k and do the job.

That'd be good if we could get our hands on that sort of scratch.

Thanks Flyboy :)

I think we're missing a vital point here as well.

We're complaining we don't have the funds to pull this off..

.........yet Centrebet is listing Pagan at $7 to be the next coach to get the ****.

Get your acts together, Carlton, put 100k down, and give him the ****, pay him out with the winnings. It's not rocket science.

Wangers multiply that by 2 and what do you get? He has just started his new 3 year contract.
