Jarusa - I'd quote you but if everyone did that it make take a few days to scroll down the thread ;)

Just a comment though with respect to players being involved in goals - I think you should only count direct goal assists/goals rather than everyone who has had a touch along the way - particularly given that some of those touches may not be 'clean' or 'direct' passages of play

Agreed, I generally like the direct assist stats as well, but I just thought it would be interesting to see a more general list of the players involved in plays that result in goals.

Thing I like today were the number of Coast to Coast goals and goals from Stoppages and Centre Bounces.

If the AFL have any problem with me providing EXTRA advertising for one of their sponsors I'm sure they will ask me to remove them.

These things are always questionable, but as long as you are not claiming credit for the work of others, not making money from it and not using it to slander anyone it is accepted even though technically it may be a breach of copyright.

When you see the use of avatars and the constant posting of images on forums where they might appear for a day or two and then dissapear it is pretty hard to police.

On FootyGeek I try to encourage people to use the images from that site on forums etc, because much like the AFL stuff above there is a watermark on the image (in my case the website address) so both parties get something, one an image they want to use and the other exposure for their product or advertiser.

interesting seeings that the sexy squad were threatened with legal action by the AFL for having interviews with players on our site, for FREE download, but because the players appeared after training and such, and outside MC Labor Park, it was AFL intellectual property.

oxymoron there huh....afl and intellectual in the same sentence.
