Hurt himself late last week, will miss 4-6 weeks with a knee. Digby Morrel on SEN mentioned it. Apologies if this is old news

Old news - not really. Hidden news - absolutely. Bad news - really bad.

Apparently he had an op about Tuesday and had his knee cleaned up. Probably 5 weeks out and probably 10 weeks until he could get a senior game, if he were in the form he was in last week.
Probably a keyhole job, so it won't be long until he can start to train - in fact he is probaly on the weights already.

That a boy beo! :D

Any surgery save for a fluid drain (which would point to his knee being in a disasterous state for his age) would have him out for at least 4 weeks you'd think, but there are a few exceptions to this.

Does anyone know the nature of the industry? I might be able to have a quick read over relevant procedures and take a crack at recovery time and the effects of the procedures used.

I am still a biomedical science undergrad, but I'm considering changing courses, bit of a family background in pharmacy/medicine.

Can't believe I substituted industry for injury...

Hey Jimmae,

As someone who has shared the wonderful experience of the Biomed course with you, I'd say decide what you want to do and do it. So many people waste their time with biomed and get to the end and realise that they have no idea why they bothered to do it.

Btw, finally managed to get myself into gear and posting on the site.
