I think it is true. My mate in melb a mad CFC supporter rang me an hour ago saying the same thing, just did not know when it would happen.

Good news (assuming fact) and well done to the club for the way they handled trade week - we will not be bullied by fly-by-night football manager wannabes like the felcher

Great news.

A lot of energy expended by Carlton supporters for nothing.

It was good that is happened actually, after so many things going wrong in the last month this was a real test for the club to see whether they had truly lost the plot. The Blues came through with flying colours, credit where credit is due for the club.

We will know we have a good side when Thornton is forced to play a flank all the time.

signed for 3 years-
apparantly they told him that pagan wasnt going to be there after 2007 anyways-hence a 3 year term..
also, got it confirmed that the board wants gibbs but pagans set on leuneberger..
new ticket should be up before christmas, possibly before that..
contrary to my previous posts, the board now aware of the looming challenge and theres pressure in some quarters of the board for Smorgon to resign.

Hopefully the board overrule Pagan on this one too.

not too sure--
in the end hughesy makes the final call-- im pretty confident we'll be pickign Bryce. there has been some heated debate inside carlton circles about this already..

just a side note- you know you have a successful forum on your hands when up to 3 posters have heard some good news before the club has even announced it..

:-D :-D All rest assured that we will be getting Gibbs.....

There may be a ruckman or 2 in the PSD that we could get.....

The Board have made it quite clear that Gibbs is the one they want and Wayne Hughes will not bypass the bset player which is Gibbs...
