Tony De Bolfo has just written an exclusive story for the Blueseum.

It can be read here: http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-read_artic ... rticleId=7

Basically the article asks that as part of the proposed development of PP an iconic piece of Carlton's history should be made part of the plans (a statue of Jezza's mark).

What do the punters think of this idea?

Yep.

Incidentally, I also think it's time for me to write another article. DeBolfo is winning 4-3 and I hate losing to anyone.

excellent article, does anyone know what happened to 'the beast' as far as the media goes - I know something was meant to have happened but I don't know what?

Call me Mr. Picky but wouldn't it be more appropriate if the statue was at the MCG, since that was where the mark was taken. :?

That thought did cross my mind as well Mr Picky (maybe it can be justified as a part of Carlton's history rather than MCG history).

Perhaps Buzz in Bronze?

Nice one guys.

I read the article. I agree wholeheartedly...we should build the statue - and we should do it before Carlton is shipped off to play in the Kimberleys or wherever.

At least we will have something to remember the club by.

IF the club does survive then it is a great reminder of the club's finest hour.

Fascinating that they have already done it over in the west.. or are about to... when you get photos of that ... can you post it on this site?
that was a classic mark too.

great work molsey and tony.

Don't be impatient Juzz - 'if you build it, they will come'. After the Club starts linking to it, there will be something of a media drum-up for the BZM.

As an inception poster on sabbatical, I'd really like it if you could help me out with a project... do you have any time?

I'm not good at writing profiles else I would have written one for Sticks and my posts on here would be remembered by Verbs and Effes.

So unless there is more data entry to do I don't know what more I can add.

Unless you want to me bag some past players we both dislike?

Yes, data entry, along the lines of what you started many moons ago. See the BZM thread, but we need to fill in mini 1 line bios for all players. I've done those that havbe played 1-6 games, but of course theres a lot more than that.
