Ok we have no money and no skills... I had an idea how to raise money and modify the players behaviour via aversion therapy or negative reinforecement. Remember the swear jar that you (or at least some people - I was raised in a catholic household) had as kids. You swear and part of your pocket money ends up in the jar. Well I reckon we should have the clanger jar. 1,000 AUD for each clanger. 10,000 AUD for the highly paid players like Kouta, Stevens, et al. We might still play like shit, but at least the average supporter wont be sitting there saying @#$%&! hell these guys get paid 10 times as much as me and I could do better than them. Just imagine how much money the club would make each game, talk about a cashflow injection. PS: As you can tell the swear jar had a @#$%&! positive affect on me ![]() |

With Fev, Waite and Betts, does kicking a point count as a clanger because they missed.... The guys who stand out for me are Houla, Thornton, Carrazzo and Walker as serial offenders... |

How about we contribute a dollar to the club every time we swear on here. We'd have the debt paid off by lunch time wednesday... We could have the DEANO SUPREMO northern stand and the AGRO southern stand in honour of a couple of key contributors. It works, surely... |

The guys who stand out for me are Houla, Thornton, Carrazzo and Walker as serial offenders... Clanger= turnover= ball going directly to opponent under no pressure. I don't think that includes a point. Fev has had 23 clangers and 22 behinds for the season. 7 clangers & 11 errors this week alone & 2 behinds. Maybe a shot at goal that is marked by the opposition is a clanger. Not sure whether behinds are regarded as errors. Houla, Thornton, Carrazzo have the least clangers and Walker not that many either. |
