I blame Denis
and my small penis
for the state of our affairs

He has ruined young Blake,
made a shamozzle of Livo, the snake -
he even went into bat for De Luca
when blind Freddy could see he was pretty puke -a
and now we look back
at all those players named hack
and remember the thread
between them and Pagan
and review their efforts again

I say Beauie was a beauty ruined
by Denis' swift boot,
Glen a champion rooted
by a coach who never knew anything,
just had the good luck
to be around the right time after a @#$%&!
that produced Carey
who went within nary
a hair's breath of being screwed up
by Denis one fine winter's day.

It is true we are shit
and Denis certainly doesn't seem
to be able to get us out of it
but all this finger pointing to the past
and mud slinging at his back
is just a show of how far we have fallen,
we the once proud supporters
of the mighty bluebagger's club.

Now we are bluebeggers
and they say beggers cannot be choosers
but if we could we'd choose a new coach
at the very least a damn coackroach -
surely that insect would do less harm
than Pagan's developmental swarm
that has our kids' talent oozing out
like pus from lanced boils
until they are but shells, shrunken, lost
to this great beer belly game of ours.

Denis asks our players to be accountable....

Everyone has to be accountable.

Even Denis.

I am glad you used the word 'everyone'

and of course you'd agree when assessing someone's accountability we should apply such concepts as justice and fairness?

Or is everyone accountable for everything

and thus (in true new age fashion) for nothing?
