We have some brilliant kids coming through and a good mix of senior players, we still need more. |

Please don't include Stevens & Scotland (a one-legged duck I'm sure, always going in circles) |

Stevos groins are shot to bits....... he came back last year for the begining of preseason raining over weight cause he was adviced not to run and rest. |

I'm not that impressed by Mitchell, if we were to get another coach i wouldn't mind someone like Longmire as he was in chance when Sydney were picking a coach and he has being sitting with one of the best coaches in the AFL for a while. |

My god some of you have no idea......... we have had the worst list for the past 3 years. Now we are starting to see some signs of the talent we got coming through but we got no depth. So why blame a coach that has nothing but a hand full to work with. like i said next year we will see the baby blues run out and no longer the likes of Prenda, Sporn, Banno, Chambers, Teague and Longmuir |

I would like to see Mitchell as match day coach in a similar setup that Parkin and Brittain had at the end of Parkins reign....I think its wishful thinking that Pagan will resign or we will pay him out so a comprimise needs to be reached where Pagan keeps his dignity and money and we get the development our youngsters need... |

Then rest him or go for surgery now and promote a rookie, he is a liability out there at the moment. |

No clue at all. You're a dreamer. You can't seem to work out where the real problem is. Run out who we like next year, if we still have Pagan as coach it will be like shuffling deck-chairs on the Titanic. List-wise, forward-line is great, when they're not injured, midfield is ok when they're not played as defenders, defence needs some work. If the players don't play with any committment doesn't matter who plays, we'll probably lose nearly every game like we did under Walls in 1989 when he lost the players.
To me, change the coach as quickly as possible. Can't believe people voted to keep Pagan on in this poll. They really must get off on losing, or at least really great gluttons for punishment. |

Hopefully the beating drums, as the H-Sun put it today, saying he'll be elsewhere next year are right. While he's there in any "head coach" form you won't get the best out of the players. Get rid of him full-stop.

Uncommitted huh? Yep, I can see the logic. Let's say I am a 22 to 23 year old player who hasn't set the world on fire. Then I get a chance in the seniors. I could go and try my guts out to show that I am capable at AFL level. Then, maybe someone else would be interested in me, or I could continue playing with the Blues for over $100K a year. But no - I have a stroke of genius ![]() ![]() Now, of the senior boys, I can't see how many of them could be playing all that much better. Fev and Lance are having great years. Barney is in the wars but trying, and the same with Lappin. Scotland is playing well. Kouta is on last legs. And the youngsters just want to play regardless. They haven't had a major opportunity, and I doubt if they'd tank to change the coach. Yep, we'd be absolute champions if only they'd change the coach ![]() ![]() |

Our midfield is hopeless! The only decent midfielders we have are a first year player in Murphy and Stevens, Bentick was run off his legs today and looked as slow as buggery. I can't recall how many times Simpson was run down today due to having no awareness of opponents when he had the ball. I can't think of a side Scotland would get a game with after the decision making he showed today. We also have Prender in at the centre bounce, they had C.Cornes. Do we even have a backline? ![]() The deckchairs are being reshuffled because we're sinking under the weight of too many passengers. Blackwell has to come in next week and Houlihan needs to go back to his Salon to get a manicure because he isn't getting the ball. ![]() |
